I have a 04 f250 6.0 powerstroke hasnt been studded i just did a egr delete and cat delete/mufler delete with 4in pipe i also just installed a sct x4 and when its set on performance and it doesn't smoke but it did 1 time right after turner installed and no more

How does the trans tuning feel/shift? Id like to have my trans shift something like between stock and tow/haul mode.

I installed this a year ago on my 2004 F250 6.0 with 87,000 miles. I had a new FICM installed 6 months ago. Started having water in fuel light coming on about month ago. This would kick the turner back to stock mode until throttle returned to idle. Drained water separator (No Water) changed filter. Problem still there. Cleaned connectors. Problem still there and now started having glow plug indicator lighting up. Decided to reinstall SCT program to see if that would help. Returned to stock settings and checked for updates on SCT website. There were many. Updated SCT Turner and before installing new program decide to test drive in Stock Mode. None of the problems I had were present but it was a dog. Tried to install new updated program. I kept getting Error code and it stated return to stock mode but it would not give you options to return to stock. It should already be there since the update never took. I contacted SCT and found out that during their update the program assumes that your factory FICM, TCU and ECU had the VIN number loaded into those components. 2004 did not have them which caused the error during loading the updated program. SCT took my info (VIN#) from my truck and my Tuner and wrote a program to load the VIN number to factory equipment. They programed my turner that day over the computer and I uploaded it. That was week ago and since then I have had no problems with codes, water in fuel, or glow plug lighting up. Great job by the support team at SCT. My transmission shifts like factory.

I am getting a SCT X4 here pretty soon, Im going to use that to tune my 6.0. I also have a Edge CTS 2, Do you think I can tune my 6.0 with the SCT and then use the edge to monitor temps?

Bought my SCT tonight from Innovative Diesel tonight. I paid $674 - comes with 4 custom tunes. I have a custom built 2005 6.0. I am hoping to get some unbridled power out of it. Can't wait to get it in the mail. Great video. Thanks for all the info!

Dont update that thing it will be nerfed they took out the egr delete option and it's next to impossible to get tunes in 2021 because emissions laws
