@@CobbleBompster it was on of my first jobs in the industry where I wasn’t just getting coffee. I was still low man on the team but I got to throw in suggestions and draw up ideas. There were a million things that needed to be designed on that film. At the time this was just one of them but they didn’t give any limits on how far the design could go so that was fun.

@@Andrewscrafty ok, too much saturation on the colors chosen for the sculpture: the crab arm and leg, too red. The colors on the suit make it look like almost new, the cloth under his belt, too much saturation also.. and the head, too brown.. Davy Jones has an overall muddy greenish tone.. even in the scene where he is in direct sun light it's not that tone of brown.. maybe a greenish darker brown as a base color and then some Nápoles yellow with a touch of green as highlights.. it's like most of the color choises where too 'one tone' too saturated colors.. made it look too artificial. But hey, that's only my opinion. Nevertheless the sculpture is 100/100 as always 👌

I get but they aren’t that saturated if you watch closely while I paint him it actually can be seen, I add some saturation effect to video at end for more kinda dramatic look for example even varnish doesn’t shine like that in real life it’s only cause I shoot him with too much light

@@Andrewscrafty well, for me in the footage while you are painting it and in the final reveal, the colors doesn't change that much.. I noticed you put a green light for ambience too in both cases, even that doesn't help in my opinion.. but as I said before, this is just my opinion
