@@kpopvniversity I'd definitely say it's more fantasy with a decent amount of "spooky" aspects. Nothing directly horror though, it's such a good film I'd definitely recommend it, Imani is also right in the fact it's seamlessly inclusive. It's a seriously great watch and it doesn't take itself to seriously I hope your able to check it out at some point :)

@@elyssahodges2143 The only part I could understand is that last sentence, and us humans do have different races. We’re all the same SPECIES, and just like most other animals on this planet, we have different “races” or “breeds” who have different features and different traits than others’. We look different, we are different, it’s okay to acknowledge it. Either way, whatever you said still doesn’t explain why you brought up blm and went straight to thinking op only liked the movie because she was black. Such a weird mindset, the movie was good because it genuinely was.

@@Mariamas Race isn’t real. But different colors and features are for sure. Blackness and whiteness are concepts. Look how different a Somalian looks from a Nigerian and a Swede from a Brit. Some sharing more features with people from other “races” than their own race. We’ve burdened ourselves with this concept just like we have with concept of time. We’re in no way comparable to dog breeds.

@@imadeyoumad7078 Sure, if that’s what you want to believe then believe it. I see race as a loose way to categorize people with similar genetic traits. Its existence isn’t a burden to me, because with or without it people are always going to have biases against others who don’t look like them.

Yeah, but the story itself felt rushed. And I really wanted more details of what a "Hellmaiden" is...🤔 But don't get me wrong, I liked it. I just wished that it had more time and substance 😔

@@PMIII i think the story relied a lot on inferencing. most people can understand that hellmaidens are people who can talk to demons and bring them up to Earth, but it would be nice if the movie could actually say that. it had plenty of opportunities to.

The pacing was atrocious, which is a shame. My heart has a soft spot for stop animation, so it was disappointing to not enjoy it. Especially with so much inclusivity, like. You want to see good representation, and they have it. But you want to see good representation in a movie that doesn’t feel like the first 30 minutes are setting up 3 seperate movies.
