So how do you guys make money in Scum? Help each other!

If you're watching this video more recently, torpedo has more lock boxes scattered around. There's a building with a door accessible by the road on the southwestern side that perimeters the factory - there are about 5 lock boxes in the room to the right once you enter the door. As well as on the roof of the central building (more accessible from the south entrance) with about 13 lock boxes. You will have to dodge mechs in order to climb either the outside ladder or the internal ladder. I find it safer to climb the outside ladder as there are less puppets and more time out of mech vision. Dodging mechs is really easy at torpedo - it's my go to looting spot for military loot. Another great place is the train station in Z1. There are about 9 garages on the southern road alternating between military loot and more farming/food/screwdriver/nails and bolts/etc loot. With the train yard, mechs only patrol the inner portion, so when looting the garages they will not see/care about you - so it's a great place to go if you don't want to dodge mechs.

I think theres 29 lockers at the torpedo factory all easy to get to. I listed them in part 2. but theres 6 here, 6 in a building east of here, 12 in the top of another building ( the one mentioned in part 2) and 5 in a building that has a door facing out of the factory next to a road, which is out usual way in. Which hopefully adds up to 29

whats with the timer for lock picking?? there is no hurry n u should be able to adjust the pick as often as needed unless u break it!!!! ive earned more money taking car parts n selling them!!!

I hit sub base last night and the office in the tunnel has had the loot absolutely nerfed to oblivion. We're talking pre-.85 police lockers. Empty or old shitty ammo. These used to spawn SVDs and such. Even the green lockers that used to spawn armors were ALL empty.

I know this is an older video and you may not see this, but I am constantly appreciative of the content and information that you share. Just wanted to say thank you. ALSO....20k views and only 587 likes is criminal. lol.

The last spot you show in the Z area of the map has a much better area on the south end of the complex in the missile warehouse - X=-442745.672 Y=-694198.6547. There is a set of stairs you can take up to a cat walk, then up another set off that catwalk and your on the third floor in that warehouse. It has 13 locked lockers that drop great loot and pretty much every crate in that warehouse is worth a look and can spawn rifles/guns/ammo of all types. The crates on the roof also have great loot as well . Also, same complex, there are two other areas not covered in your video as well, X=-435163.4376 Y=-699460.9038 warehouse with about 7 lockers, and also another warehouse with about 7 lockers X=-431161.7027 Y=-672097.2087

for me sub pen and airfield were my goto but since 0.9 they have removed a lot of the top end weapons and nerfed them quite a bit, for clothing and cash hit the barracks above the subpen, the highest tier weapons I've found so far were in the basement armoury at the prison.......

To the north of the torpedo factory if you sneak in through the rail head. There’s a building with 6 more locked lockers. Cheers

Naval base is useless already from .85 update

I used to think for the longest time there was a difference between player and environment locks because of how people referred to them as "player locks". Really it's just that rusty locks are only for environment and iron/silver/gold are player and environment but are the same difficulty.

The submarine entrance is on the southeast corner of the naval base (the 2 white half circles next to each other on the map).

a refresher is always nice. Reminds me, they should revamp the Prison, the Brick Factory, Naval Base, Training Camp. Would be awesome if they could do them up nice and new like the abandoned bunkers (not exactly of course but just update the setting.) With Abandoned Bunkers, they make every other POI look cheap and bland!

Best way to make money is to go mech hunting. I usely fill a metal chest with rpg rockets and go to the barracks in B3 there is 3 mechs take them out and loot them and then loot the area. Take a short drive and return and loot and mechs have reset. When all rockets are used of to the trader and its an 400 k plus lots of fun killing mechs

Yeah you missed the other 12 lockers at the torpedo factory that’s at the top of that middle building.

A4 navi, they changed the loottable, so ray let the devs know, you can go 10 Times there and find nothing -.-

bruh since last wipe naval is dead !i allways check in once a week just cuz yellow´s are easy to get now and the best i ever got from those lockers is: stabvest, flares, 5 rounds of 9mm AP and 2 large toolboxes( i dont even know how they get in those lockers :D) the torpedo/mech factory on the other is golden ! the 6 lockers u showed at last allways give me a m16/mk18 on ur server :D +die 13 lockers in the middle of that POI is extreeeeemly good for gaining money.

Pretty surprised that you didn't show off the real loot there at the torpedo factory. That is always my go to place to get lockers and what not since there are just so many all packed into one POI. That spot over the water is certainly the easiest one to get to but hardly the most lucrative. If you go straight across the water from the location you showed off that middle building has like a dozen on the top floor alone, plus a couple green boxes you can check, then if you go east from that main building across the tracks there is another building with 6 lockers as well as a few unlocked lockers that I often find ammo in. Only trick is getting the route down and learning how to avoid the mechs since there are a lot of them patrolling and the buildings are fairly open in some places.

Police stations can be epic too

Since 9.0, Submarine base is bad, top left airfield bad. Old intact bunkers ( non-brenner/razor zombies ones) are absolutely the best targets. 2-4 armories and 249's and MK18 types are easy to be found for basically just killing a handfull of ordinary puppets. WW2 bunkers are still useless because every item is just rotten away. Same for hunter towers and the random military tent outposts. If i just want to make money fast, i drive around map and check non-abandoned bunkers, each armory is like 10-20k worth of items for basically zero risk. Go into an abandoned bunker, it takes much longer due to sneaking, or consumes more ammo to deal with the razors. Sure, you can learn drop patterns, but it's still much more risk compared to oldschool bunkers, and the really good stuff in the abandoned ones is down the stairs. TL;DR: New abandoned bunkers are not here for fast money. run the few ordinary military bunkers left in game at this point. All the outdoor Military style POI's like airfields or boot camps or naval bases do aboslutely not yield the money as armories in standard non overrun bunkers.

Sub pen / naval base is broken for some time. It looks like lockers there are set to be "Police station class" instead of "military POI class". And as other mentioned already, explore Torpedo Factory a bit more. There are two more buildings with lockers there with a total of about 30 lockers for the Factory. As a hint - look for way to get up to top floor.

In the torpedo factory there is another building with 12 in the room. Very close to where you were.

This game is about to cost me a small fortune FFS for reference I want to play this game 😂 I don't have or have ever had a computer 😮😮😮 so now an old man like me ,has to get a computer and try and figure computers out 😅😅

The prison was pretty useless before that, so they did good reworking it's loot. Naval base is broken, was good place to loot before 0.85, but now it gives nothing most times, u find much more running around and checking on trains, lockers are pretty empty all time, even on 4x loot servers 😅

Playing with standard loot is ridiculous. If you enjoy finding nothing all the time you must be having fun!

Great video!! It's got to help newer players find some good loot. It helped me, as I haven't been to the torpedo factory yet, so I learned something too!

Torpedo has 29 lockers way more than the other 2

Top level loot has definitely dropped off as the Devs want people to go to the Abandoned Bunkers for high level gear. Old bunkers are actually still good to loot. We find M249 and PT-29 in Old Bunkers and much easier than new ones if you're just doing loot runs without the cool experience of Abandoned Bunkers. Abandoned Bunkers are just super fun now though.

Naval base sucks now. I never find guns there. Before 0.85 it was a gold mine

They kinda screwed over naval lockers. All those lock picking lockers to include the ones at the old bunkers FOR THE MOST PART give you two items in each…. Whether it be a gun and ammo or a gun and an attachment for example. Naval… only one thing. Makes naval a little less desirable.

naval is broken with loot in those lockers , nothing good anymore there , only the 6 domes on top have desend loot

Kind of hard these days (I mean in 0.85 and 0.9) find hiking backpacks. Patches before I remember finding them easily and randomly. Nowadays seems they're rare to find. Any tips on this one?

singleplayer settings are standard very much shitty loot, if you slightly up those settings to about 4 instead of a 1, its gonna be slightly better stuff

Lol it's obvious you didn't test any of this except prison ( which you basically live at). Naval and missle factory have been trash for MONTHS. Before 8.5 update even. You can do better (Time vs Payout) just by looting police stations. Just being honest, this video was very disappointing.. I feel bad for new players watching this and believing it.
