RecoveryTodayMagazine.com is pleased to announce Volume 1 of what we know will be a runaway hit, "Scummy Unplugged"!
Colin "Scummy" Morrison interviews extreme athletes, sports stars and interesting people, all battling and winning the disease of addiction.
This issue, Volume 1 is with Motocross star, Shane Bess. Shane and Colin knew each other from Motocross superstar-dom but also, coincidentally, from rehab! Scummy and Shane ended up in the same addiction treatment center at the same time!
If you're looking for real conversation about addiction, recovery, being sober, this is the right video for you. They tell it like it is and inspire others.
If you're in a dark place, there is light. There is hope. Colin and Shane are examples of that.

I don’t think these guys know how much of an influence they are on folks in recovery now days!!! I’m not sure if Im alone but I get more out of these videos then any amount of therapy appointments and talking to a so called licensed head shrinks out there folks!!! Keep up the wonderful loving work brother and just know that you are truly changing lives! God bless you!!!

The bad thing about pain meds is that you just can’t abuse them sometimes once you start taking a bunch you can’t go backwards you could fill a pick up truck full of Percocet and it’s still not enough

Oh bro I know it. It’s wild how bad how fast it can get especially living day to day for these and when you can’t get them is the worst feeling in the world especially when you get some you say alright this is the last set I’m getting you feel the guilt from buying them then when you run out you start panicking looking everywhere you finally find them and that cycle starts again the guilt of buying them saying this is the last just repeats it’s self.

Plus when you are kicking in country jail it’s extremely dangerous because you can’t defend yourself. You are pretty much laying on the floor morning if not in your own $hit. It’s brutal. Ppl walk by and kick u in the ribs

They're called painkillers for a reason. Nico Izzi was another great rider with a lot of hype that fell into addiction. Totally agree that it's not talked about enough in the industry, once it all comes out about a rider they're written off and everyone pretends they never existed. Addicts don't need pity or coddling, they just need help and support (as long as they have the desire to get off the drugs, can't help someone who won't help themselves). Kudos to you guys for doing what it takes to get clean.

He wasn’t “ROBBED OF IT ALL” we have to be careful with the language we use. Our society has become the victim and nothing gets better until we take responsibility Now I know he knows that and he has he is farm from a victim I am just talking about the choice of words in that into. “HE WAS ROBBED OF IT ALL”. No he wasn’t he lost it all because of his actions and new he has gotten it all back because of his actions What if we came out now and said “ HE WAS HANDED HIS LIFE BACK” AND NOW he lives the life he always knew he could That’s not true he worked his a$$ off It joes both was. We just have to be careful because we see the results in the younger generation. People are far too soft. The everyone gets a trophy 🏆 mentality has destroyed a generation and unfortunately it takes roughly 12 years (a complete educational cycle). To correct the mistakes we made in the past

Disagree. Actions yes and yes, they have consequences but addiction is mental...illness, mean you're out of your mind (which causes your actions.) Does cancer "Rob?" I think so. Is it a gift to have remission? I think so but it may also be that you worked your ass off. I fully and completely agree w your sentement of victimhood as well as everyone getting a trophy but yes, I look at this a a cunning disease which robs its victims. Insightful comment and I respect it. I don't agree but appreciate you leaving one. Thank you.
