SCX24 Drag Jeep on 3s

Swapped Tegu esc for 25amp Toro esc due to Tegu having a lower amp rating. I believe the 6100kv could max out the Tegu at 3s and I honestly dont want to burn my brand new esc😅. In any case, we are almost there in speed for what we want. I will do a pinion swap now in an atempt to gain a bit more speed and from there we go to paddle tires and sand. Everything looking good so far👍.

Pretty cool. I'm running the furitek komodo outrigger with lizard pro on 3s with a 15t and 23% overdrive worm gears and I'm pretty sure I'm going faster if not faster than the same for sure and I'm having no problems with the worm gears heating up or with burning up my esc. I kick up dirt with my huge 64mm LGRP tires and awesome donuts with the rear steer but still donuts lol. You should look into the Godzilla with the rocketman transmission by furitek that will get you alot more speed. I know this video is old so I'm sure you moved on I'm just letting you know thanks for the vids

Thanks, Im the guy that designs stuff for Furitek so im aware of the Godzilla motor 😁. These videos were for showing the capabilities of the stock scx24 axles, for speed we decided to go with RGT axles👍☺️.

For me the Furitek Tegu, I can do 2s fine and go pretty slow, but my reversed is now halfed even set to max speed on the app. Got a Fs-Gt5 now, loving the radio so far.

@@Gamyrc Ya, I try 3s for time to time to see if it works, but it still doesn't for me. Yesterday I try down updating, but that just caused more problems until I updated it back. I think my esc is partially broken because sometimes it comes with some weird issues, like my reverse throttle is half and early was just stuttering a little bit.

So I put a new motor in my scx24 and it’s binding what do you suggest I should do?

Find where it binds🤷🏻. Lol, just messing with you. But seriously, check gear mesh, and dogbones at the end of axle shafts. Those are main issues with binding. If thats not it then move inside trans to check gears and bearing which are notorious for going bad which I dont get why at this scale🤷🏻🤦.

I had mine bind from the gear cover being too tight after motor swap, it's easy to overtighten
