Josh excited about a hardbody makes me think he’s spent too much time with Flannel Daddy. This hardbody looks terrific and I hope this is a new trend with the others to follow.

We need more Land Cruisers from the 80s+! More 90s+ toyotas in general. I appreciate the scale details and RC form is the only place the ford bronco belongs and looks amazing.

Kudos to Axial for releasing a hard body with clear windows, + an interior & a driver.

Axial FINALLY came out with a hard body. Wish it would have been a Jeep or a Ram. Thank you for another great video.

Glad to see another scx24 and the hardbody looks pretty good. I am still more interested in seeing some alternative bodies for the Gladiator wheelbase. Like a proportionate pickup truck??

This is the only SCX24 I’ve ever wanted!

The shock angle is funny when doing this but you hardly see them. I moved the upper shock mount on my deadbolt to the body pin to shock tower hole. Huge huge difference in lowering the vehicle and limiting tiny amount of travel. Put a tiny amount of chassis/wheel bearing grease inside the shock bodies to calm the bouncy affect. Stock tires everything does well. And I can never buy a rtr without chopping the bodies and lowering suspensions.

I can’t believe you filmed the addendum last night for that! PS the hardbody weight penalty isn’t a huge deal at that scale, plus you and Matt did that whole SCX 24 build off that folks can reference.

That rig is badass. I would like to see more hardbody choices.

This has been an awesome build for me. SSD wheels, rc4wd tires, links, steering arms, 4mm wider with brass pads, and some brass diff covers in black. Handles like a dream.

I've been working on a custom hard body for one for a while so I'm mildly irritated by this release frankly but it still doesn't have the details I've been working on adding in. I will probably get one anyway though to play with while I finish working on mine. Having another body to scan might even help. I hope they release the body as a standalone part though.

I'm lovin' it!! That is the first SCX24 I actually might buy in the future, mainly because of the scale and that Bronco body. Finally something for us Ford guys!

Mine and my wife Bronco is on the assembly line this week. Gotta get one of these to go with the 1:1, and 1:10. Just with they had the Cyber Orange. Guess I’ll have to paint it.

You were at an ASD Crawler event my daughter won a blue international crawler and I had you sign it for her.

I love it. First thing i did with my scx24 is add a hardbody so 10/10 from me. I hope they continue to offer hardbody options into the scx10iii range.

I just got one of these. I love it! He's right though... it's super tippy. I removed the spare tire and it's still very tippy. It tips if you look at it crooked. But that's okay... I have new wheels and weights and stuff coming for it. And he's right about them multiplying... my Gladiator version is due here today.

I have 3 scx24. The C10, Gladiator and regular Wrangler. The Gladiator is good, the C10 is good but the Wrangler is just too tippy. Right out of the box these trucks are ok but they REALLY need weight added down low. I wish Axial had built them stock with the battery tray up front over the front axle. Weighting down low and up front makes a HUGE difference in the amount of fun for serious rock crawling.

Half a dozen? You haven’t even gotten them wet yet obviously... I’m up to more than double that! Awesome release though. Looks like they have been watching my channel for how to scale detail these guys out. Gonna save people $$$ who like to add that level of detail. So nice!!

I recently purchased the gladiator, The hinged body idea is good but I’m wondering why body pins have been put in the rear hinge like screws have been I find body pins staying just as well and it’s a lot easier to remove the body

I put in a order for the blue one. I have a Mini Z Jimny I love how scale it is but it can't really climb much, not to mention the upgrades are limited and expensive. This Bronco looks just as scale and more capable.

i am stoked now. i would rather buy the gladiator still but.... i would by this. more so.... it is awesome to see axial get into the hard body scene.

Wow that's cool. The only think I dont like about that rig is I know for a fact I'm going to buy one and when I do I will have to buy 2 of them. On second thought, I have a birthday coming up so maybe I can talk the wife into buying one for me and just maybe she will pay for them lol. I think I'm for sure buying these for our grand kids.It's time to get them into the hobby.

I totally get why they went with the choices they did and it makes sense. I think the body looks amazing. That said, I wouldn’t buy it. If I wanted a scale hardbody Bronco and would take the penalties with it, I’d really want IFS. I don’t expect them to offer it, but that’s what I would want. If I don’t want the weight/scale penalty but rather the crawling capability then I’d want a light Lexan body. This just seems like not scale enough but also not crawling capable enough. I guess the good thing is you can have a spare body/bumper setup and swap depending on what you want to do. For a fan of the Bronco I could see it being a huge hit and if it were an old JK hardbody I’d probably be drooling a bit more. The Bronco just isn’t my dream so the emotion of it isn’t there.

G-6 challenge an the poison spider an an a honcho an an venom crawler an just wanted a small one to mess with in the house because I'm a disabled vet an cant get out like u used to so that's y I'd like to get one an like the bronco but wished it came with a jeep body an thanks for your vido on the bronco an now I want one .

Been looking at the 1/24 scale models, currently have a 1/10 scale Element Trailwalker and a 1/12 scale Associated CR12 F150. Love the Bronco body SCX24, can't wait to get one!

I have the Deadbolt SCX24 and love it. I made a hardbody Hilux for it too - tricky but worth it. This Bronco looks great and I'm happy to see Axial go in this direction. However, I am still going to pick up a Mini-Z APIO Jimny - Kyosho may not win on performance but they dominate the scale details department. I'll probably pickup this Bronco body set for my Deadbolt. I love the interior!

I have the deadbolt in my opinion for 125 and having the longer end links it's better for crawling and can fit any body on it for the 24 scale size I put my kyosho mini z 4 runner hard body on my deadbolt. Looks amazing and crawls well also I did a bunch of shit to my 24 as well some say I'm stupid for what I've done others say stupid works best sometimes for RC I'm going with my second one because I can climb up wall vertical straight to a 90 degree angle with it. Ye things more fun to me than any 10th scale haha only because it's easily portable haha.

I predict that Axial will come out with a hard body 1/10 scale Bronco with interior (like the Vintage Bronco of theirs) and compete head to head with Traxxas. Traxxas I love the brand but they just has never stepped up their game when it comes to the TRX4. Great platfrom, never breaks yada yada yada but look at all the Axial releases in the 1/24 & 1/10 arena in the last year. Wow great stuff. Ok I'm ranting, long story short..... Great little Bronco. I will get one!!

I only have the one deadbolt… but I am I think going to grab a bronco body AND grab the new traaxas. But I managed to stick with only one for about a year.

Been trying to put the bronco body on my sons deadbolt. I cannot figure out the rea hinge, as it seems like my frame is to short...just buy the full rtr is my advice as the body and parts are 90$ alone.

given that my scx24 c10 weighs in at 312g, with mods of course. id love to see if they add other hard bodies to the lineup, so my little crawler could really squish those tires going over terrain! ill probably wait for the kit or accessories hit the market tbh, thanks for the great first look!

The bronco wheelbase is the same as the Deadbolt? I thought the deadbolt had its own wheelbase, while the bronco and c10 shared the same dimensions.

I’ll start by saying I like it and I will get one. That being said, Since Traxxas already covered the 2021 Bronco I do wish Axial would have done a hard body scx24 of their Early Ford Bronco. I guess I’m not sure how licensing works. Ford must have the ability to allow multiple manufacturers to produce copies of their stuff. Great video as always.
