Clicking noise. Pinion / spur clearance need readjust?

Yo that’s my favorite motor and goes together no problem! I bought this other one Benedict Harry and it weird aluminum nice transmission was kool but the motor mounted to the transmission with the plate it had issues I had to sand it and grind away on the new plat I got with the motor didn’t fit so the screw holes where off set pain in the ass and the motor is only held by one screw! New gladiator and upgrades and than that happen to me! Sick truck though think it’s my new favorite!!

Nicely done, just one comment you don't need to take off the rear drive shaft just front one.

Do you have trouble with it being so tall? I started my gladiator just like yours, then put double barrel shocks using the stock axial springs, which has me bottomed out when sitting, but gives me a huge amount of droop. I can now go most places my gatekeeper goes. I did add the overdrive gears in front which really gave it climbing abilities. I'm using a ox motor. I also found that rc4wd mudslingers are the most awesome on this rig. Iv got 11oz of weight at or below axle height. Like I say I use where I use my gatekeeper and ecto. Wish I could say the same for my other 5 24s. Love that long wheelbase. Getting ready to Frankenstein my deadbolt with all gladiator links, thinking this is gonna be a very interesting experiment. If it works, look out!
