SCX24 Jeep Gladiator - BUDGET BUILD - Update 2 - Red Halos/3D Printed Parts/Rims/Brass/Detail Work

Update 2 has arrived for the SCX24 Jeep Gladiator! My goal is to achieve a totally custom build with a small budget and keeping purchased upgrades to a minimum. Update 2 features:
-Red led halos + headlights
-Injora bronze CNC beadlock rims + tires
-Injora black brass 10g diff covers + marine grease gears
-Install more 3D printed parts - Side mirrors / Hinges / Rear spare tire carrier + jerry cans
-Vinyl wrap body lines for doors, hood and grill
-IRONSIDE decals
3D printed parts from ‪@MWright0825‬
($ =CAD)
$20 10g black brass diff covers from Injora + $35 CNC beadlock rims & tires set. Vinyl wrap, decals, 3d printed parts were all free. Red halos were taken off from a old build I already had! Everything from Update 1 = $15
Grand total = $ 70 CAD

This is honestly the highest quality video from a small channel I've ever seen and is far better than most larger channels. The car looks amazing and you clearly have a talent for both video creation and RC just incredible work man please keep this up. Maybe even make an Instagram account or tiktok and do short videos with 1 mod in each

Giving credit where credits due. Been in the hospital for a week doing all I can to avoid surgery #49 from 26 years of crohns (and I'm only 35) so I've had a LOT of time to surf the tube man. This thing has my vote for sure. Hopefully soon I'll get back on my feet to afford to play with the 2 c10s I have for me and my 3 year old little girl. Hers is the gun metal and she wants to do purple links for her 4th bday. Hopefully we can get creative with some scale touches like you've done. Keep it up buddy. Looking forward to your future videos &shorts.

Best looking gladiator I’ve seen, I also had the tan one I got all the door handles and hinges ain’t put on yet also came with sunvisor one piece goes around the windshield with sunvisor and windshield wipers Pretty awesome I haven’t put the mirrors on yet either, would love to have those mountain stickers, appreciate you sharing I’ll be following for more love it

If you added a winch, would the transmitter and reciever that came with this kit be able to control it, or do you need a new channel? In another video you showed the 3 way led switch. Cool build, thank you for sharing!

Hello! I'm honestly not 100% sure. Never had a winch on my scx24. Would be cool though😁But I have on my trx4 and it has a separate controller and I belive I hooked it's transmitter to the battery connection

How did you do with the diff covers? The ones I got from Injora required some additional filing to get a good mesh. Otherwise they would bind terribly. Great looking truck! I just got a tan Gladiator, too, so your design is appreciated.

Are those mirrors really stuck for good with that glue? It looks like they might snap off really easily.

Hello! Being glue deffinately not permanent. I was driving yesterday though and flipped over about 20 times and nothing happened, the weight of vehicle isn't a lot and body flexs so it seems to be pretty durable. You could screw them on from inside but then a good hit might Crack the body!

Anyone I could find open on the receiver. I have a light controller and new lights all around but have not installed them yet. No switching at the moment. Hence the new board.

On the new board 8 have 3 high output and four running lights of of one receiver output. I have high voltage headlight and a fat led strip for the light bar, 4 rock lights,and tail lights ,back light bar with urn signals and white lights.13 lights in total!
