Just watched your vid...Amanda's comment that the artwork is a huge part of the enjoyment of the game is spot on. I really enjoy Scythe...just started getting into bigger games. Watched most of your video on Brass: Birmingham and that might be my next game investment.

I just bought scythe today. Been eyeballing it for about a year now. After purchasing the digital edition on steam 5 months ago I knew I needed the actual game in my life. So today I did myself a solid and bought myself scythe as an early birthday present for myself lol. It's a very fun and unique game. Probably will just be me and my dad playing the board game as I don't have any other people to play board games with. Two players feel kinda dull unless you're factions adjacent to each other. But it's still a lot of fun. I look forward to experiencing the actual board game with real people rather than playing alone on my pc against ai lol. Great video. Was fun to watch.

I have played a few times. I wonder if someone as the Rusviet player could win by upgrading the coin spot on the move/gain action and just do that action every turn until the end of the game. Is there enough game turns to do that? The game would have to be about 30 to 35 turns plus the set up of the first upgrade to guarantee you the victory.. Just thinking out loud.

hm, not through the teach yet @ the 18 min mark rn. But the different faction boni are a bit much arent they? especially the movement boni? How everyone can cross water but only between different tiles. then the diving one. Its a bit of a lot to keep track. I am no stranger to more complex boardgame but I feel like this is unecessary complexity for complexity sake.

Haven't watch the whole thing yet but one mistake that keeps coming up. The event cards only happen at the END of your turn signifying the end of your turn. Or am I crazy?
