On May 2, 2024, seventeen new paramedics were honored at a graduation event aboard the USS Midway. This is the SD Fire-Rescue Department's Paramedic Program. Students from SDFD, Chula Vista Fire, CAL FIRE, Carlsbad Fire and Falck USA successfully completed the requirements and graduated.
