Just ordered the Night Stalker DS last night. Super exited to try it out and compare it against my LFA Apollo 11. I love my single stack Tisas 1911's so I have no doubts that the DS versions will be great too.

@@timjr260 not yet I'm waiting on the optic to be delivered. My initial thoughts are that it is good quality. It's as good as their single stack models but this one definitely feels more geared towards carry vs competition. It also came with two magazines. I would say the LFA is a higher quality pistol but it is about 200 bucks more and comes with one mag.

i still dont understand what the concept is to these 2011 things......they arent new---weve had them since Para Ordnance---way too heavy to carry every day concealed......im sure there good shooters but i dont have a use...as far as the hi-power----i learned on that gun when i was 8----still too heavy, terrible sights

Yeah. 2011s are for competition. Like You said, way to bulky to carry. Especially with all of these lightweight double stack subcompact & micro 9’s on the market. Makes no sense. Also, the 1911 platform is WAYYYY pickier, more finicky and high maintenance than all of these ugly polymer 9mms out. It looks cooler, shoots smoother, and You’ll feel like John Wick using it but way more practical options for self defense/shtf out here.

Also…its movies man. After John Wick 3 *everyone* wanted a 2011. Same w/ Lever guns. Them things go for 4 times as much after “Jurassic Park” and “Wind River”.😂

@@MinhVu-in9iz I meant that in a good way. I think SDS is going have a hard time keeping up with demand for these...if QC is good out of the gate.(👁👁Prodigy) If you want a bull barrel version, look in the MAC catalog.

@@chrisferguson1911 I have the spring prodigy, it’s good, their first gen was bad, but I feel they have taken care of most of those initial issues!!

@@MinhVu-in9iz they still juse junk cast parts in the prodigy. The Tisas options are all forged with no cast parts.

@@TinkerTactical Springfield stand behind their product, and unless you use thousands of rounds per week, I’m sure it’ll be okay!
