The Jodie Foster reference is to John Hinckley. He tried to assassinate President Ronald Reagan in 1981 because he was trying to impress Jodie Foster

I don't know your situation or how much time you have to yourself to edit and watch movies, but I really feel your channel would take off if you put more out more consistently. I really enjoy your content, and feel your reactions are genuine. Also used to watch your music reactions with your brother, and that was great too. Keep up the great work!

Spot on, I agree with you, George's reactions are great and I, for one, have missed him and his channel so much over the last few months. He always chooses great films and from what I can remember, this film came second or third in the poll! All the best. 👍

it's all good that you don't talk too much during the movies. many reaction channels talk to much and miss key plot points. Also it just emereses you more into the movie when your focused on the narration.

I walked out the movie theatre back in the 90s scarred from this. In a strange way, to see a young guy like you feel this same thing decades later, this is therapy to me. I'm actually relieved to find out that your generation is shocked by this too. Thanks for uploading your experience. Earned another "sub" from me. See you next video, mate!

Don't change the way you do your reactions a bit, I'm tired of reactors commenting on every crumb and trying to predict everything ahead and talking over dialogue. They miss a lot by doing so, you only talk when there is silence and your have genuine reactions : Disgusted to the visceral stuff, gutted to the emotional stuff. Just PERFECT. If youtube reactions was an art you are a black belt. Don't change a thing and never apologize, cause you are giving us exactly what we looking for.

Up until this movie I always thought of Brad Pitt as just another pretty boy bland actor, but that scene where he's trying not to kill John Doe and fails I still think of as one of the greatest moments of acting in movie history.

Imagine walking out of the movie theater after having seen that. Those lucky enough will really have felt the highest level of movie magic. Heat came out the same year. It stars Al Pacino and Robert De Niro and is another masterpiece.

This is an extremely chilling, dark film which I've seen a few times. So well acted by the leads, Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman. This film really does get under your skin, makes you think and and is so disturbing. It's really compelling too, using the seven deadly sins, the killings are so shocking and the climax of the film is shattering. Thanks so much for your great reaction, George, take care and all the best. 😊

The perfect double bill pairing for Se7en is Angel Heart (1987), with Mickey Rourke and Robert de Niro. It shares a lot of the themes and some of the atmosphere but is also different in interesting ways.

Superb reaction, mate. Andy Kevin Walker truly doesn't get enough credit as a screenwriter. He wrote this whilst working in a record store, miserable from his time living in NYC, and it shows in the material. David Fincher went on to hire him to do (uncredited) rewrites of his next two films - The Game and Fight Club - and both are just as brilliant. Fincher and Walker have recently united again for The Killer, a neo-noir thriller out next year. I'm expecting nothing but grim greatness.

I believe they kept his face hidden for the mystery alone. An unknown killer is always intriguing. I saw this in theatres and from what I remember, Kevin Spacey just became somewhat popular just a month before with 'The Usual Suspects' which is why I believe they didn't do it because of Spacey. I do recall recognizing him myself because I did watch 'The Usual Suspects' just a few weeks prior and his character then did make a huge impact on me.

The reference to Jodie Foster was not due to The Silence of the Lambs. It was because the man who attempted to assassinate President Ronald Reagan in 1981 did so in Jodie Foster's name. She was only 18 years old at the time but the man, John Hinckley Jr., had seen Jodie in the movie "Taxi Driver" with Robert DeNiro when she was 12 and Hinckley developed an obsession with her.

I just subscribed on both my KZfaq accounts! You need to put out more content. You have a very open mind and honest reactions. I think your channel could blow up if you get more content out. P.S. Your "The Thing (1982)" reaction is one of the best reaction of any movie I've ever seen! Honestly, you got so much out of what this movie is truly about on your first watch. That is so crazy to me because I seen this as a kid when it first came out. I've also watched dozens of times and countless reactions as an adult. To me, what makes a great reaction is when the reactor gets so much into a movie or show they catch most of it on the first watch. P.S. You are probably the best reactor when it comes to NOT talking too much during a reaction💯👍👍👍. A lot of reactors just don't realize how important it is too NOT talk too much. Last thing, I would also love to know that "The Thing" looks like in it's original form!

Thank you so, so much for that last bit about not wanting to talk over the movie's script. To me, that's the biggest IQ test there is. If someone talks over the dialog in a movie, i don't want to watch their reaction. Because their biggest reaction will be: "...huh? Why did they do that? I don't understand what's happening. How come he said that?" The most sacred element in a film is the script. It is the key that opens all the doors. It makes the movie make sense. It is the map; without it, you're lost. So when i hear some moron mindlessly blathering away, obscuring the film's dialog, i know I'm looking at an imbecile. Someone who can't possibly react with a full grasp of the movie's impact. Because the movie flew right past them while they were trying to be clever or were telling us a story of zero significance to the film. So why would i care about their reaction? Thank you for getting that! That's what makes your reactions great. That's why i'm subscribed. Peace -

This is my favorite film ever. There have been many films over the past 25 years with great twists or crazy endings, but in 1995, for a big Hollywood mainstream movie to have such a dark ending where the villain essentially wins in the end was unbelievable. I cant breathe watching the last 20 minutes of this movie, even now after seeing it about 15 or 20 times. The first time I saw this I was messed up for days. I still get chills when I watch it & love watching people react to it.
