The Indian industry has leapfrogged in terms of its ability to absorb modern and emerging technologies, says Vivel Lall, who's on the Board of the US-India Business Council.
Those skills apply equally to innovation and R&D which has helped Indian firms partner with global companies on an equal footing.
Lall, who's the Chief Executive of General Atomics Global Corporation, has attended all meetings of the India-U.S. initiative on Critical and Emerging Technology (iCET) so far, including the one co-chaired by NSA Ajit Doval and his U.S. counterpart Jake Sullivan in New Delhi last week.
It's no longer technology just coming into India but technology from India to the United States, he told Bharat Shakti Editor-in-Chief Nitin A. Gokhale in an exclusive interview.
