Yup, one day I may get around to fixing the issue.. but I'm okay with the band-aid fix for now

Did he shave the ride plate?

Yeah, he shaved off a bit to try and remove a dent.. it's not perfect but better than it was.

@@RM.Adventures_did he do it by hand/on ski? Or did he take it off and get it properly decked?

He sanded it by hand while the ride plate was still on the ski. He just tried to smooth it out the best he could. It's not to spec like what Riva is or was offering

@@RM.Adventures_ that’s good to know, it’s probably not perfect but hey it’s such a massive job to take off the ride plate, then pay $$$ for Riva or Jim’s plates to cut it and then putting them back on is a shit job!! If you can give it a quick tickle and it’s better then it was that’s a win!!

@JoshDK- I agree, that's why we went this route since it's less expensive. We also weren't sure if it would resolve the issue. He could have shaved a bit mor, but we played it safe since you really can't go back. We can probably get another 1 mph out of it but it's not worth it.. IMO
