Sea foam in 1.8T... Snake oil or genuine product?

So I've having alot of issues with my 20 year old Skoda. I've seen a lot of videos about this product so decided to give it ago. If you have any ideas why is my car getting such a poor fuel economy please do let me know thanks.

I've lost the clip where I put sea foam fuel additive in the fuel tank too. The cleaner I sprayed into a throttle body is called seafoam SS14 and the seafoam fuel additive is called seafoam SF14

Interesting. I use STP 5 in1 fuel additive. Never let me down

Did you replace the throttle postion sensor aswell?

I had it tested it. There was no issue with it. The product clearly made a difference

@@ADM_K fair enough pal, so have you had a boreoscope down to check the cylinders etc? And what about bottom end health checking? Also. It was overcomplicated with both a timing chain and belt on some versions of the engine.
