Sea Power lets you control NATO and Warsaw Pact forces in a modern naval conflict.
Whether it's gunning it out with Boghammars in a surface duel, fighting off aerial attackers armed with long-range missiles, or hunting for enemy submarines with aircraft and surface ships, advanced weaponry and sensors are at your disposal.
Can you successfully hide your forces while detecting and tracking theirs? It is up to you to play an advanced game of cat and mouse on the high seas, to seize the initiative and attack with the advantage of surprise on your side. And at all times, you have to observe rules of engagement and take care not to cause an unnecessary incident that could lead to escalation.
After all, you cannot really be sure just who that radar contact at 30.000 feet is, can you?

Well I have no idea why the "creative mind behind" left Killerfish, but they are making the same thing, but in WWII. So now we have WWII and WWIII naval strategy games in the works. I genuinely wish the best for both teams, and hope that both games turn out great, both would be a dream come true. Definitely don't worry about competition, as the only competition would be which one I'd play first!

It looks like strategy game where you control more than just 1 ship or sub. You will have control of whole fleet and its capabilities.

OMG! This is, what I need. Yesterday I was playing World of Warships with my friends and we talked abaut, that there are not so much good games with modern warships. And now, one day later, i find this. I can not wait for it!

I wishlisted last year. I want to do ASW operations and sink ships with missiles. It would be really cool to attack ships with aircraft. I read a lot of early Tom Clancy novels as a teenager like The Hunt for Red October and Red Storm Rising. This game reminds me a lot of that especially Red Storm Rising. Can't wait to play it.

Given that the USN quickly became the dominant navy in the world, I wouldn't be surprised that the roster would be dominated by USN equipment.

Well probably in future updates or patches, adding more nations require more work in developing subs/ship/aircraft models, not only they have to adjust the gameplay with the existing factions within the game.

Hopefully nuclear subs will still be fully playable in this and not simplified! Also how about the option of launching nukes from the subs and ships and aircraft please? :)

Will you be able to play both sides? I hope so, ships like the sovremenny class destroyers, the aircraft carriers of the Kuznetsov class or the cruisers of the Slava class are pretty cool, it would be great if you could command them

The best Sea game I had was on my Commodore 64, Called Strike Fleet, for the time and computer, that was the baddest game around, I never found a game that comes even close to that, Until now, I am looking forward to Sea Power, I have Cold Waters, the only thing missing in that one is Multiplayer/ Coop, that would have been cool if they added that in. Still a great game. Also a Shout out for ICBM, this game impress me, and it Multiplayer.

I love cold waters game esp. when I install epic mod so I can play as ships...but since I saw this I'm Hyped now I wish I can bought this game like cold waters and I wish they will add slava class missile cruiser, Udaloy II and other modern ships like admiral gorshkov.

I hope they're not, if you know the game Naval War:Arctic Circle the carriers and airfields have limited numbers of aircraft, but during rearming and refueling they will be unavailable for certain amount of time probably 1-2 hours of game time. Plus its mission based game where there's a time limit on how long you have to finish the mission, so 500 sorties wouldn't be possible

The Release date was planed to be late 2021, however it could be pushed back to early 2022.

Yes it will be based off Fleet Command but with a dynamic campaign that is effected by the decisions you made on either the American or Soviet side. You can go to the Discord to ask questions from the Developers in the Official Micropose Discord server.
