Tom Izbicki Like Everything else $$$ I’ve had 4 brand new boats in my 57 years now have zero cause boat companies have gotten greedy $$ my last boat bought brand new in 03 a 23’ Blazer Bay decked out n with a Yamaha Z Max 200 $ 35.000 in 1998 a Hydro Sport Bass boat 19.5’ loaded.$19.800 ordered in my colors Now you can’t even buy a aluminum 16’ for that $ n a Bay Boat (WELL) you can forget about one of those cause you would have to sell body parts to afford one like $50.000 plus give us a Fucking break Ps.Boating SUCKS now,can’t afford the gas if you have one n I’m not poor but not Rich either.Its a-shame I’ve fished tournaments all my life have a Captains license to charter fish.But for a new bay boat $60.000 I can buy or go fish any we’re in the world. Ok I feel better n will quit whinnying lmao Peace Out

Has nothing to do with being rich. Has everyone to do with having good credit to finance it. People don’t buy boats and pay cash. Well I’m sure there are some but the percentage is small. I purchase boats based on a couple simple factors. Monthly payment and how much it will be worth in a few years. Most of the time I can purchase a boat that cost more and have less of a monthly payment compared to a boat that costs less. Sea Rays are like the Chevrolet’s of the water. There are so many of them and that makes the resale value lower. Don’t look at the price tag but look at the payment and how much the boat holds its resale value. Final note..... when you jump to a 20 year loan term then you can afford a more expensive model.
