When I first moved to CA from VA a few years ago I was excited for all things Filipino. The store brings you the feeling of being at home in the Philippines. You can relive those memories of eating Filipino snacks and other things. If you're not a Filipino and you like Filipino food then you're an honorary Filipino.
Filipino activities are centered around meal times. We love food and sharing stories around food. Singing karaoke around food gatherings are important to Filipinos. We're a happy bunch and sharing our food is an important part of our culture. So Seafood City is very important to all Filipinos lucky enough to have one near them.

It's been such a long time, but I used to like Lechon. In the past 7 years, I've been Vegetarian :) What's a good vegetarian friendly Filipino dish?

UTECHPIA I tried to be a vegetarian but it didn’t work out especially after watching all the movies about our food industry. Now I’m almost vegetarian 😀 I prefer to eat a lot of vegetable dish with small pieces of meat but not eat the meat. I know it’s weird. There’s a lot of friendly Filipino dishes that can be modified to become a vegetarian meal. There’s Pinakbet and you can omit shrimp fry. Sautéed bean sprouts with tokwa (tofu). Laing without meat. Just to name a few of my favorites.

Wow! I saw your other cooking videos and it had meat in it, so I didn't think you are so close to being vegetarian. GREAT JOB! Keep it up! =) Thanks for sharing those Filipino Vegetarian friendly options, I'll try them out once I get a chance.

Hahaha. I'm an almost vegetarian on a daily basis. I prefer to eat veggie based meal. But I eat it on occasion. I had lechon on Thanksgiving but I don't really like burgers or steaks but I can eat it if there's nothing else. You're welcome! Thank you for always being supportive of my channel. I'll do the same. One of these days I'll make a vegetarian video dedicated to you:-).

We Are The Coleys I know I used to go to either Mexican or any Asian supermarket and drive an hour each way or more on I95 when I used to live in VA. It’s not the same but it’s something.

Kimberly&Gracie's Journey When I lived in Virginia and Maryland, I used to go to any International stores. They had African, Mexican, and or Chinese. They may not be very big but it was like a treat back then for me.

I also dedicate this video to all subscribers from the Philippines. It'll give you a glimpse of how we satisfy our Filipino cravings here in the US. But of course only if we live near a Seafood City or the likes. I think so far it's only in five states, namely California, Nevada, Chicago, Washington, Hawaii, and of course outside of US in Canada. The other states have to be content with limited small Filipino stores or other Asian stores.

Last time I went to sea food city I bought 30 oysters and everyone got sick never going back I will find a better place to buy seafood 👎
