Seagull Artist Series Acoustic Guitar - needs a setup and an output jack repair!

6 ай бұрынThe owner of this guitar picked it up in a small music store in Nova Scotia for a very good price and brought it to me to give it a setup and overall inspection. It is a Seagull Artist series by Godin guitars here in Canada - model Studio CW. It was made in 2005 and is still in very good shape. The output jack was loose and the 9V battery was dead, but other than that, it set up well and the electronics all work. Enjoy the video!

I have an Artist Cameo. I use a capo a lot, and that’s really hard on frets. And even unplugged, these guitars (w/the Godin electronics) will kill a 9V dead. Thanks for the video!

I noticed that you use lemon oil on the fret board. I just started playing guitar and I saw Music Nomad's add for their fret board dressing and they state there is no lemon oil in their product because it's too acidic or something. My fretboard is walnut. Have you had good luck with lemon oil? I enjoy watching your channel! Thank you!
