In this excerpt, C.S. Lewis critiques both atheism and a simplistic form of Christianity he calls "Christianity-and-water." He argues that atheism and overly simplistic religious views fail to grapple with the complex realities of life. Real things, he asserts, are inherently complex and often counterintuitive. Christianity, he believes, acknowledges this complexity by addressing the existence of evil, sin, and the need for redemption.
Lewis explains that reality often defies our expectations, which is why simplistic views of God and religion are inadequate. He critiques Dualism, the belief in two equal and opposing forces of good and evil, pointing out that evil is not an independent power but a perversion of good. Christianity, he argues, is closer to the truth because it recognizes that evil is a rebellion against the good created by God.
He describes Christianity as a "fighting religion" that sees the world as enemy-occupied territory. According to Lewis, the world is under the influence of a dark power, but this power is not equal to God. Instead, it is a fallen angel in rebellion against God. Christianity, therefore, is the story of how God, the rightful king, has landed in disguise and is calling people to join in a campaign of spiritual resistance and restoration.

Perhaps it is a subtle thing to the algorithm, but I was literally just day dreaming this notion of evil being a parasite. One which feeds on your negativity, and one that also farms that negativity for the longterm. ... One has to take this evil head on, and cast it out (in the name of the Almighty) and affrim that this harvest and feasting STOPS today.

AMEN‼️Genetic algorithms I am thankful for! Thank You Lord for the ability to think, and reason. Thank You that I don’t have to earn or work my way to get to heaven. Thank You that Jesus was the perfect sacrifice for sin. To believe in Him is to be saved. Please help us to commit our lives completely to You. To think, listen and CHOOSE Your way in everything. Help us to SEE the difference between the good and the evil. Amen.

Dualism absolutely out of the question if it means the two powers are equal in any way. satan is a creature while God is his Creator. Brush satan away like a cobweb.

We have a NEW nature that we can act from. We still have an old nature in the background that does not want any part of it. But we are born again; made alive in Christ!! We have to choose to follow. Why would we choose? Because He loved us so. Because He, Jesus, was marred beyond recognition on that cross as He gave His life for us. I love Him because He first loved me. 🕎♥️✝️

This is because it causes the good side to be evil. This is how both sides are good next time of six by ending as "even so" now. [evil at both sides] Returns at a second coming of faith as good at both sides parts the red sea as RE with De between is gone and faith goes to the right side where lord they hide.. Last verse 21 'Lord Jesus Christ' [Laws faith and love] goes to chapter 22 as Heaven. Verse 20 "Lord Jesus" is "even so" [no Christ} makes Lord false love. Those go to chapter 21 as a new earth in the past as good slaves now begin at Ex O De US as the second beginning so go back to after Adam and eve and begin again as you De what you were this time. No evil is what good is..lose both sides because the good was made relative to the evil. DE-part joins parts back together and then both as one go from you. NO need for good to be a thing made inside you when no evil is what good is already..No evil is good as love is neither side that gods will passes by others at two sides to re-late at late as non duel or non logic. Parasite.. Pair a.. Evil makes the other side evil as one sight. The spirit IS a Ghost goes backwards to the pair R way [kings] again and crosses [T] back here another time of six as an [E] again. It means an evil spirit dresses as love and gives to receive which means he hid deceive that really goes with receive and now those are not see at both sides deceived into one evil think that evil named C.

Re video title: Thus bible god is a parasite. Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things. As an ex-christian of 20 years, I no longer have any interest in a faith-based, not fact-based religion that has a god who's the sole cause of all the evil in the world.

If you really read the Bible you can see God’s heart. He revealed Himself. His people rebelled - even to the degree of sacrificing their children to Baal. God about this, said in Jeremiah 19: 5. “It did not even enter into my mind that you would do such a thing!!” GOD IS HOLY; utterly holy, and the only way we could come to Him, is if we’re perfect without sin!! But none of us is perfect and without sin, except the substitute who was perfect and without sin THAT WAS, AND IS, JESUS. He said, (John 12: 31) “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to me.” And so it was. He loves you.

@@valeriehayward5947 I REALLY read the bible, for 20 years, and I agree, bible god showed his nature...and he has some serious soul issues. In the OT, bible god engaged in numerous evil acts against various individuals and tribes. Not only that, he engaged in contracts with satan, the so called enemy of bible god and humans. Satan could not engage in any evil acts unless bible god gave him the green light. Bible god even gave specific instructions to satan regarding Job, multiple times, and satan obeyed to the letter each time. That's how well bible god and satan worked together as a team. So not only did bible god directly engage in evil activity, he also did so by proxy through satan. And as I said, bible god being the sole creator and primary user of evil, is one reason I permanently will never have anything to do with this faith-based belief system called christianity.

Satan could not engage in any evil acts unless bible god gave him the green light.
