The commitee boat end looked like it was waaaaay to favored. Need to kick tha tleward pin out fifty yards and perhaps cut the length of the line in half. I have been looking for the other end and have not found it yet. I did lots of these DP races over the decades with the first one where Dana Point only had a Sheriffis station, one row of docks and that one resturant that is the Nord Haven dealers now. The island part across the bridge was just dirt for many years.

I see at 8:30 it became a dragon boat race 🐉🤣
