Thanks, my father was stationed in the 50 and 60's at a Radar Site in Labrador. I still remember the stories he told about catching fish until his arms were so tired he couldn't fish anymore. Nice to see old traditions still going on but back in the day they didn’t use guns to go after seals …. Not a single youngster in the boat. Such a sad state of affairs in our province. Another generation and the hunt will be lost entirely. I was on one hunt as a youngster 30 years ago. How I wish I could go out on the ice again with my dad, and bring along my son.
