For the alignment, you can save time by clicking on the box and the slice and align right and then do the same thing on the other half and align right and they won't move from their placement other than moving left or right. Also, when I'm slicing this much, I create one slicing shape and then copy it as many times as needed so I don't have to keep creating them over an over. Lastly, you can delete directly from the layers board by right clicking and selecting delete - for that one it just depends on how comfortable you are with doing that. I think you did a great job describing your process - you have an excellent voice for this =)

Thank you for this! I need to try it now :). My one suggestion - when you are moving one half over to the other side, you can use your arrow key. Just highlight what you want to move, and then click the arrow key on your keyboard - it will move the highlighted section straight either left to right or up and down, whichever way you want to move it. Then you don't have to worry about it being out of alignment :). Great job!!

This is for the double sided sticky tape method. Most use double sided sticky tape sheets. it all comes out on one sheet. You then peel each area individually and glitter.

My images are not working. By not working I mean when I weld them the detail goes away and the only thing left is just a shape. Even when I use the same image (which is a print then cut), it's detail goes away. So what type of image should we use? My image was originally a flat image used as a print then cut. I changed the image to have layers and made it a svg. Both images when I weld them everything goes away except for the outline shape. Thanks in advance for your help and advice.

When aligning your squares for slicing, it easier to use your x and y coordinates to line them up.

@@incinidy4086 Have you had a chance to do this tutorial? I am trying to do one where i have already done the offsets for each object and have layered them but i am not able to slice them
@incinidy40862 жыл бұрын
@@sbvaughn1980 I haven’t. I had a live scheduled tonight. It’s my Monday. Hopefully I’ll have time tomorrow evening. you have to slice one layer at a time. It’s a pain. But you can’t weld them to slice, it has to be done piece by piece.

i get through everything just fine until i go to slice it after i have done all the offsets and hid the shape and the first 2 offsets it will not let me slice it after that for the sides any idea what cld help that i watch ur video as im doin so im trying to do it exactly like it
@incinidy40862 жыл бұрын
Hide everything except for one layer at a time. Weld them all together and then hide it do the next layer and weld. After all layers are welded it should allow you to slice them. If not something likely didn’t weld and two shapes are touching so it won’t let you slice it.
@erintryon94182 жыл бұрын
@@incinidy4086 when i weld them it makes them all 1 color like theres not any layers anymore
@incinidy40862 жыл бұрын
@@erintryon9418 you can change the color but even if they were all the same color it will still cut the other layers. To chance the color on the top left hand side where it says cut/print cut/ something like that. There will be a small box next to it. Click that box and choose a different color

The offset creates the outer layers that form around your shapes giving you the option for more color outlines to give the illusion of layers

@InCinidy you can screenshot/or use snip it tool and save it. Then open the web and search remove.bg (free background removal) it's saves image as a PNG.
