I held a ribbon pole for this man at Oshkosh Wisconsin Air Show I will never forget it. Sean and this biplane=majestic

I’ve watched Sean since 1979. Never a greater thrill. He’s the zen of aerobatics, where man and plane are one.

I got very lucky to take training at his school in King City, CA and then have to do a demo flight with Sean to show him what I learned.... SUPER nice guy!

Sean D,,, think it was '87 I first saw him fly and met him.. Salinas show. Think he had a stock S2S then. with his personality and airmanship, you could see him coming.

This guy is really great > i’ve seen his shows many times ! Doing snap rolls on the vertical down line > at high speed is extremely stressful for that airplane overhauling the aircraft every year is a great idea !

5:59 THIS is the reason Sean D. Tucker is the greatest airshow pilot. There are pilots who are arguably "better" but Seans absolute dedication to airshow safety while putting on a word class act is unparalleled. Patty Wagstaff is up there to. I enjoy seeing Rob Holland any time as well. There are some really good pilots with big names themselves, but when i see anyone doing stalls, spins, and tumbles at and below 1,000' and knife edge flight between people standing, Im reminded that i don't actually like to go to airshows. Yuk.

Do you think you could evade getting shot down by a big less maneuverable ww2 fighter such as I don't know an F2 Buffalo or an early P47 or F4 Wildcat with this biplane? What about a de Havilland Mosquito? Do you think you could give those pilots a headache and evade getting shot down 1 on 1? What if they try to dive on you? Would that be the best way for them to get you? I don't know that's why I'm asking. If you had guns on your plane do you think you could take them out? If they had a bad pilot? What if you two Sidewinders? Would that help? They'd make you heavier and that's not good, but maybe shoot those missiles from a distance and rely on your guns if they miss?

There’s s video of s qv-10 bronco evading a jet in like turkey for several minutes bwcsuse he is so slow, the jet csnt hit him lol, but the maneuverability of one of these and if you could reach say 300 mph like skip Stewart’s rig can, then you could put up w reslly good fight, but eventually you would be outclassed.
