chester benningtons very 1st ban, sean dowdell and his friends, chester was just 15 years old, this was his band before grey daze and before linkin park
the band progression at 2:00, i am fully aware that chester was not in Xero, this is why xero are below grey daze almost to signify the 2 merged to create hybrid theory in a way but thanx for pointin that out

You can really hear that he's trying to sing like other singers. Mike and Chester both mentioned this in an interview last year. It was only when Chester joined with the others from Xero that Mike helped him to find his voice. :) So nice to hear the progression of Chester's vocals.

Just wanna say, Chester wasn't a part of Xero when they were called Xero. Mark Wakefield and Mike Shinoda were the two LP vocalists.

jiggins007 Chester had an audition for a band called Xero because he interested in the sound of Xero's songs. When he was recruited, they changed name to Hybrid Theory and before Hybrid Theory album was officially released, they changed to Linkin Park

i got it from some site i found through google, spend a while goin thru google links and you can find them, i have the rest of the SDahF? songs, i might put them up but they're not as gud as this one, i love chester, this song is like 16/17 years old with him in it and you could tell he was destined for greatness

nah, this was the band before grey daze, the members differ slightly in grey daze, the name grey daze wasn't even about when they made this song

yeh but this song was written as 'sean dowdell and his friends' same as the otha 4 songs about then, they later became grey daze, i'm not sure on the members changin but it was still a diff band, diff sound, diff name

grey daze already used to be awesome back then. Needs a bit more bass and chesters voice sounds a bit thin but wow... that would be a hit today.(like all other grey daze songs lol)

well this was in 1991, chester bein born in march in 1976, do the maths, 15, 16 if this was recorded after march but i kno the year was 91
