Long Textured Crop w/ Mid Fade using BabylissPro Iridescent Lithium FX+

Today we'll be doing a long crop with a mid fade on the sides. I've done a few of these haircuts lately but this one will actually have a fade and a part on the side. We'll be using the Iridescent Lithium FX+ clipper and trimmer from BabylissPro.

Hey sean, super clean fade as always 🙏🏽 only thing is i think it woulda looked better if you flared out the back a bit more/left more bulk above the occipital, because the back of his head is so flat. Think the flared shape woulda looked better for the silhouette. Just my opinion 🙏🏽 thanks for posting consistent content

All I use now are my matte black lithium fx with the blue wedge blade. I have a ton of clippers from the onyx to the rebels and everything in between. Something about this clipper, I don’t know if it’s the shape, the motor or the blade but my fades come out cleaner. I’m not a fan of how they look but it is what it is

Been having trouble with the back of the crown towards the nape using this method. Texture shears, clipper over comb, etc. Feels like it leaves a odd roundness around the back. Still in school still learning!

Great video man! Quick question: I got a magic clip w a taper blade and a boosted(got both fade and faper), how would you create a system to use both efficiently?

Just need to understand what each clipper gives you. I usually use a taper blade for clearing bulk, and the open section. Then fade with a fade or similar blade

Nice cut. How would I leave medium long length on top but so it doesn’t hang over?

Always have to leave enough length on your foundation to support the top. The sides would be longer to compensate
