Today I'm reviewing one of the most anticipated sneakers of the year! The "Lost and Found" Air Jordan 1 High imagines what an original 1985 Air Jordan 1 "Chicago" would look like if it was recently discovered in storage 37 years later. Giving us vintage touches like cracked leather, aged soles and a mismatching box, the story telling is incredible on these. Definitely a nice touch. You bring up a good point... if JB change NOTHING on this release, would people still double or triple up? I think it's a welcome change to a classic silhouette to retro again this way. The additional layer of storytelling and packaging is just enough from an archived story to where it's not overly done. If not for this release, would most people even know about the Sandy Bros story? I certainly would not. Another great detailed review. Man, your thumbnails are always on point and exquisite. They stand out from all the other clickbait, gimmicky neon bold font graphics of every other shoetuber. Keep em coming Sean. 👊🏾

i was 9 years old in 85 and i do remember a few wearing chicagos but mainly dads wore em haha. i remember it was 80 90 bucks at some shoe store. i was a bit curious and held it in my hands and thought 'hmm so these are the new michael jordans." i was so amazed he had his own shoe named after him. i heard later in 85 mj still had to be proven. Glad nike took that chance and signed him.

I’ll try my absolute best to get these for retail but willing to pay the resell price. I’m hoping it’ll be around the $600-$700 range at most 😬. These are a must have in your collection. Probably a top 3 sneaker of all time in general.

Team Early!! I've been waiting to see your review on these! I think these are top 3 release of the year for sure. The story telling is great, but I'm not a fan of the cracker leather and aged outsole. Doesn't matter though, will take my L on these now 😅

Every time I’ve looked at a pair of these online I kept thinking to myself that something was missing and I think I’ve figured it out. The height is lower than the previous releases. Not by much, but it’s still noticeable. 🤔 JB was going for an OG “look”, but went with a lower cut on these which is an odd choice.

Sandy Bros. Is Eric Sandy at Jordan Brand. He's a Color Designer for them. Eric grew up just outside Cincinnati in Northern KY (Covington, KY). That's why the receipt has that location.

Man these are great Fyi I’m a really wide footer and I wouldn’t go up half size it’s to long. What I do with dunks and Jordan 1 is take out the insole.

Where did you get these Sean?. I ask because I see multiple inconsistencies with my pair from GOAT VS your pair. The midsole on your pair is much whiter in comparison, and the side panels on your pair show barely to no cracking/distressing, also the sticker color on your box is far less bright, the same can be said about the receipt you showed. I'm just comparing our two early pairs.

These are fire..only thing for me is I'm not a huge fan of how they used the weathered look on the black on the collar and white on the toe but not the red or black on the swoosh. Seems like me everything should be the weathered look.
