I think Daemon allowing his child to be named after his brother instead of himself just shows how much he cares for and respects his brother despite their differences. He really had some heartbreaking moments when he was looking at Viserys. Its like he regretted every bad moment they've had. This was a great and sad episode.

The moment Viserys turned his head and it was Daemon beside him, holding his crown I started crying for the first time watching this show. Like we had some emotional moments before but Paddy and Matt as Viserys and Daemon have been there every ep from the start and it just hit differently. With the music and everything, most emotionaly powerful scene so far for me 👏👏

Viserys' entrance made me instantly sob. He haueld his ass there for this baby girl. I also saw a tiktok of Paddy before he walked in where he was like "serving Targaryen realness" because he's a Drag Race fan. He and Emily Carey who played younger Alicent used to talk about the show every morning and it made her feel comfortable with him. That's how the bonded before their scenes.

This episode was such a perfect swan song for Viserys, thank you Mr Considine you were marvelous

This episode had my favorite moments of the entire season, both involving Paddy. The long walk to the throne (or to save his daughter) and then when Viserys gets to have the dinner with his family. The music swell and the focus on him taking in his family, united finally. Its wrecks my heart.

Every single time I watch that scene I tear tf up, that's true love condensed into a scene, the torturous walk of an old king to his throne to defend his daughter.

I must say that the girl who plays Dyana really sold me her interpretation, i felt fear and sadness at the same time, also i was very concerned for her during the scene, i though something bad was going to happen to her.

The fact that the scene with daemon and viserys was a complete accident makes this moment even better.

I cried every single drop of water in my body because of this scene.Viserys transcend his pain, transcend his suffering, transcend Himself for Her . For his child. If yours parents come any closer in commitment and dedication as Him, hold them close and be Thankfull. Its a rare thing. Others might not be so lucky... I will never recover from this scene and I am both Happy and Sad about. But I am also thankfull. To the Actors, the music compositor and everybody who participate in the making of this episode. This scene was fascinating. It brings joy and sorrow at the same time and warms your heart by showing even at his last moments he stood for his children and a brother who finally was there when he needed him.

As someone whos dad died from cancer a couple years back. Paddy considine absolutely fuckin nailed it down to the headaches and even the breath he let out after drinking. Like i remember my dad could barely walk or anything, but i remember him getting up and walking with just like that to the bathroom and said "im gonna beat this disease", the scene of viserys climbing the steps reminded of the resolve some characters have in the midst of pain and death. True courage. All was eerily accurate, was a tough watch but incredible acting. Rsther than these bullshit Hollywood films that do fuckin bucket lists and dance off into the sunset. This is actually how cancer ends.
