Katrina alllll the wayyyyy!!!! Pay attention to who is singing the high notes. Katrina is singing all the background vocals, produced and engineered, Jessica along for the ride……

Actually Katrina herelf explained in her official vlog that the first harmonization part Kat hit the higher note, Jessica then did the higher notes on the second harmonization and the lat harmonization again Kat did it. So it was a collab well done

Filipino singers dont use autotune..way of singing varies from artist to artist…better to watch their live performances to see for yourselves

Not Philippino, but I truly believe you regarding the auto tuning. Having said that, why wouldn't you "clean up" a bit on the studio version. Only makes sense.

it's a MV, it's not live. the video has been edited.🤔 the vocal coach understood it and you didn't.🤷♂ the experienced ones with a lot of experience, above all. maybe, because they are vocal coaches and you are not? could be????🤔🤷♂

@@10kmusic51 Already seen, thank you. I said it's a modified MV. You can hear, the sound emission of the two voices does not reflect the sound emitted in the video. Similar but not the same.😘

If you pre recorded it then we filipinos dont consider you not even a second rate singer. Not even close. Well its in your culture to do it pre recorded maybe. Because you dont dare to challenge your talent. Just so u know. No hate.

never question a filipino singer if it's too good.. they can sing both live and studio/recorded version with the same quality... another thing, autotune is kinda "taboo" in the philippines because it can damage their reputation .. this i surrender has a live version and it is even greater than what you are watching roght now..

Katrina is a great vocal athlete. She can do impressions of different singers and she is really good with it. You should try watching her cover “Burn” or “Katrina a Velarde with 29 Voices.”

Katrina Velarde has a video of her singing long runs. At first 15-20seconds. After a while it went to 25-30 seconds. The longest was 42 seconds on one breath. I think she was born with 4 lungs.

She'll probably never be as world famous as she deserves, but at least we know where to get her. Katrina Velarde is the best vocalist out there right now. The intensity she brings is unbelievable

This was Her First Appearance (Katrina after the death of her Husband of 6 months) so this was HUGE for Her, she still was not ready for LIVE..... but She back on Track Now Not sure now I have heard no updates in her social media which I help out in...But I do know in the Beginning she never had NO formal Vocal training.....she is Now called Asia's Vocal Supreme...this song is like Katrina theme song...and Katrina Backed off to not over power her Partner and true professional..........And Jessica is a great singer they are like Sisters......but just seeing her Back singing Warms her Heart

I believe it. if you speak openly sincerely, coincidentally the dull fanatics, make your voice heard right away, hater. you're a broken record, you and all your friends. in the world of beautiful voices, there are many and these that I listen to in this MV, are not among the best in the world.🤷♂ I listen and then I judge, as everyone does, on the basis of the experiences accumulated in life and the studies done. i saw both MV and the live performance. good but they don't sound the same. it is enough to have, objectively, a good ear to listen, a pinch of objectivity and, if possible, to have completed studies in relation to singing and music. and above all, don't be a fanatic.😘

6:57 The one who got up to a mix was Katrina. If you look closely, Katrina was always the one taking the top harmony. The camera just shows Jessica when Katrina hit that high mix.

Can you please do a reaction on Morissete singing "Run To You" on the ASAP vs segment where she's wearing a red gown with high ponytail (it's a Whitney Houston cover and she's competing against another famous singer that's why it's called "ASAP vs.") It was amazing, she killed that song. Thanks.
