See, there is just another reason why we love you, Peter and Kitra! You go out with your gusto and enthusiasm early in the morning to have a Galaxy's Edge Merch hunt like any of us might (partially thanks to you two telling us about the upcoming merch) and you add a level of joy and enrichment to it all as you show us everything you see and tell us your thoughts. You turn something simple and what so many take for granted and make it that much more special with your joy and love for it. I had a blast watching this. BTW, Kitra, I feel you frustration with all those Black Series Figures gone and now somewhere on ebay for a way marked up price! Sheesh! Maybe one of those early rising Target customers like your channel enough to just send you one!

That's how I got all my red/orange carded POTF2 figures from Walmart. I found out they put the stock out around midnight Tuesday morning. I would go there at that time, and then search through the boxes still sitting in the aisles for the figures I needed. Anything left over in the box I'd be kind and peg them for the employees. Online shopping has killed "the hunt".

Love the fact they turned the resistance transport into a Lego set. Now you can recreate a mini version of the ride! It's cool you could unlock it in the upcoming Skywalker Saga game

Not hunting these down yet but Force Friday was a bust. Wal Mart had one small case with 8 figures that everyone was fighting for. I snagged a carbonite Mandalorian and and a white box Jawa. I can't believe the shelves are bare even for this event. Good luck!!

I’ve never been in a store with an escalator for your cart. That looks so cool! I’m glad the mini ($10) droid figures aren’t blind buys because I really wanted the purple & white astromech & purple/white + black/white BB Units and I wouldn’t have been able to afford to keep buying until I got them, plus I’m OCDish about paint quality. So being able to compare them was a blessing. And I’m with him about the books being different sizes...I thought the same. It just agitates me too. Thanks for all your videos!

You’re not crazy! You’re fans! I’m so happy that we were able to get reservations for Oga’s on my birthday in a few weeks, and yes, they are hard to get. You must be seated in a booth in order to be in there, which greatly reduces the capacity. I have my fingers crossed that Savi’s will open in time for our visit too. I agree with you, 1/3 capacity, and have people wear gloves while building the sabers. Fingers crossed! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Part of the problem finding product, even first thing in the morning... I was in Orlando the morning of one of the toy launches. I ran to Target about 30 minutes before they opened and got in line outside with about 6 other people... all there for Star Wars merch... We went in and went straight to the Star Wars display and... it was only 40% full. We asked where the product was and they told us that people had gone online at 12:01 AM and ordered ALL of certain lines and marked them pick-up in store, so the store personnel had to hold the product in the back and not put it out.... Very aggravating!

I agree, all the great clothes are only in kid sizes. I got to my local target at opening, second in line. People took it as a footrace and I was seconds behind a couple who wiped out the entire plush inventory. Waiting impatiently for Target to restock. Glad you scored some goodies.

I had the same issue. I barely found all what I wanted except for the Hondo figure. Target.com had “out of stock” so I ordered from a “brick and mortar” collector shop online and paid double for it. Grrrr!!!!! It’s funny how there’s overstock of Finns, Landos, and Jannas. Hmmm! I miss the old days when there used to be rows and rows of Star Wars action figures (aliens, background characters, and all) during the prequel trilogy. Now it’s really sad and frustrating with these understocked big box stores and sneaky Ebay-ers! I’ve been collecting figures since 1977! ❤️ It is my hobby that brings joy and childhood memories! And hopefully someday may end up as an investment in my later years.

I woke up yesterday to The Dan-O Channel talking about the new stuff. (He managed to snag one of the $400 Millenium Falcons.) I ran out to the closet Target here in Albuquerque, and they had all of the droids, but I missed looking for the plush toys. So far I know no one that has found a Hondo. The sales people assured me that more stock is coming, and the cashier freaked out when she scanned my haul. She said the she needed to text her boyfriend about the new stuff.

I like books different sizes because it feels like they are more from a universe, books wouldn’t all be the same size, but with production commercial books things are more in common sizes so it feels more real to me.

As someone who has been doing funko launches since the first avenger movie, people show up HOURS before the store opens. I remember one year they didnt let us in the store until midnight during their longer hour season so we all (an actual line down the building) had to wait outside in the rain. Some people even had tents! During Force Awakens I shamefully got to Toys R Us at 8pm and was upset about the line already. EDIT: And Peter, as a YA novel collector, I can never win with books in series looking the same

As a Funko collector I have a couple of tips. Most employees have no clue what a Funko Pop is. They might think it's candy or something. Don't scream at the employees about a toy, you're grown ass man. And, when checking for brand new Pops, they usually have them at the electronics counter.

That Jabba mug! It is def the most Kitra item I have ever seen haha. I love that they went with the hand-stitch aesthetic from the park for a lot of the items. Too bad it looks like all the mugs were chipping so easily though. I hope they'll restock everything eventually so some actual kids and fans can get to them instead of just the resellers.

The signs say things like Shipped from Batuu & Galaxy’s Edge. Also on the black series figures has the writing on the white label & it reads Batuu

I was very disappointed when I went to two different Target's here in NYC. Neither had much of anything. The only really cool thing they had available was the DJ Rex Black Series figure but WOW was it expensive! I'm so glad you guys found and saw so much neat stuff.

I am not a star wars girl but I found you guys a while back because I could NOT resist building a BB in Galaxy's Edge and I was looking to see if anybody else struggles to open it to turn it on (seriously why is it so hard? lol). I keep watching because I love your shopping trips no matter what you are shopping for. (I actually am pretty sure I would watch you buy groceries...lol). My point of posting today though is that the book thing would drive me crazy too. I don't collect books anymore because they just take up space and I only use an e-reader or audio books anymore but i am pretty certain i would have a tantrum in the store with them being different sizes. what's the matter with them?! 😂

Peter, your book OCD is not stupid at all! I have the exact same issue, to the point where I've re-bought half a series of books if they changed style or size so they'd all match. It's infuriating when parts of a whole aren't cohesive!

When it comes to finding any hot or new adult collectibles, it is definitely a hunt out there. Hopefully, you will have better luck closer to the holiday season.
