I’m not a hockey player but this is a very nice and very simple concept that i love :) this brought joy to my day!! also remmeber that different flooring will incur unique friction behaviors!! loved this!!

IDS was always my favorite, playing as a goalie in the 90's with heavy lumber I could send that thing all over town.

The Swedish stick handling ball is the best for off ice stick handling handling on a smooth surface

Oh really??? That's interesting! I'll have to look into that. I've tried a roller hockey ball and a really cool homemade stick handling ball a buddy of mine told me about (made out of shredded tennis balls and a wiffle ball). But I find that it's difficult to cup the ball with the blade and drag it without the blade just rolling over the top of it. But I'm probably just doing something wrong 😂

try spinning the puck while stick handling it should help keep the puck flat

Oh that's awesome! We use the IDS ProShot at the rink I'm at now. But I agree that it's not the best on asphalt! Have you compared the xenopuck to the green biscuit on concrete?

Everybody has different tastes! Some don't like the green biscuit and some do. I like them, but I definitely understand not wanting to mess up your stick now that I've broken my first one 😭😭😭

I think the green biscuit is a good puck! I like them too. Although the yellow puck slides further, it gets knocked up on its side much easier than the green biscuit.

Bring your mallet rig to the rink and compare this to a puck on ice. I bet the puck lands somewhere around 4-5th place

I really want to try this! I'm curious now to compre how a puck does on ice to these plastic off ice pucks. Because if these off ice pucks are super light and slide further, then they don't truly mimic off ice conditions. Doesn't mean they aren't useful, but it would mean they're different. Thank you for bringing this up, Louie! This is awesome 🏆

What if you put water on top of the ice and froze it. Your floors will be a little wet put it can slide. Performance issues may also occur though but I am no expert

@@Dude_Im-Not_Scared I'm down to try it! I've used a lot of random things to puck handle before lol When I first started really wanted to practice at home but didn't have any pucks. So while I waited for my first set of pucks to come in the mail, I dangled a can of tuna and a sink drain plug - and they're not too bad! 😂😂😂
