It is certainly a landscape painting composed of elements for beginners😌. Nice subject matter, well thought out👌. I felt that the expression of the shadow of the rock would be the most difficult for a beginner to draw.🎨🤒💫

First step apply the colour very light and bland it and then dark shade and again bland it. If you follow this step you will get a realistic painting.

I usually start with dark, the paint the highlights, going from darest to lightest. Blend so that there are no harsh lines.

Another tip that works for me is to work from the horizon to the foreground. Example, for a painting of mountains, I do the sky first, then the mountain, and add the foreground of trees, structures, grasses in the order of their positions in relation to the artist's eye. It's a series of layers, really, sky, mountains, and whatever is in the foreground.
