Mike, the owner of the railway was my brother who sadly passed away after having a brain tumour. His railway was his passion and he enjoyed many hours maintaining it. RIP Mike. Xx

My personal view is that a layout is a model in itself, that happens to have a railway track, and many models within that main model. This is a fine example of that principle. The buildings, the scenery, the Harbour etc, all outstanding. Well done to all. Nicely made Howard.

Great looking layout, some good buildings and scenery. But why is there GWR region engines on the layout when it is based on a lincolnshire region which would have LNER or LMS?

+Matt Seymour the layout is situated in Lincolnshire, but, as the owner said early on, it is based on the south west of England

Sadly this has all been broken up and put into a skip.i believe the locos,coaches,wagons and vans were sold on.unfortunately it is no more.

I don’t think it was all put in a skip, sadly there is a very limited market for quality railway modelling.
