Thanks so much for your feedback! You should be proud - this is a very advanced dialogue! If repeating the lines at the same speed feels too fast, you can also simply try to focus on hearing every individual word of the dialogue. Once you get familiar with the contractions and blended sounds, you start to notice them in other places, and hopefully you can start to understand native-speed English conversations first time!

Hello! If you can understand the dialogues without the captions, then you are quite likely to be on the upper side of B2!

To Tell lies means saying something that is not true, this is the most commonly used To say lies is to pronounce the word lies To use lies is to tell lies as a tool Speak lies feels a little old fashioned

Thanks for watching! You're right though, British accents can be hard to understand because British people use a lot of contractions to "squash" the words together! It's still good practice for your listening skills though - we hope the more you watch, the more you can understand!

It can be difficult when you're not used to it yes. Hopefully these videos show how the words in phrases get "squashed" together and make those tricky sounds.
