Wanted to clear a few things up since they already did a hotfix patch - They nerfed Titanic hydra -5 ad and -50 hp which is a pretty big nerf since I was already on the fence about this item. The big problem with titanic hydra is you need BC/Sterak's first and then it feels too greedy/expensive to get more HP/DMG, it feels like you need resists after these two items or you just get blown up right now, there seems to be way more burst. Maybe this item can still be a good late game option if you're fed though, still want to test with it more. Spear of Shojin could also be a decent replacement for a damage/hp option. The active is also hard to use consistently. - Black cleaver MS might not be a bug, maybe just a hidden ranged penalty, which is a bit sad. - Force of Nature is way better then I thought when I made this vid, the passive gives you so much more magic resist than before, especially if they have less bursty mages this item is insane right now. - Stridebreaker sadly doesn't feel worth it this season. - I talked to yangus beef (chall Urgot NA) about approach velocity, the reason he started taking it is because red buff is global now after 20 mins, so whenever you have red buff you basically have a free frozen mallet passive from approach velocity. Really liking this rune atm. Might be greedy in some matchups though, I got wrecked by a jax when I took it vs him, but has definitely felt good vs some other lanes. Overall Urgot feels kind of the same to me so far, maybe a little worse sadly because mages are so strong now which is the class type Urgot struggles against the most. It's been hard to tell because the games are so stompy when I get out of lane phase, one team has 20+ kills which just makes it hard to get a good reading on tests, let me know what you guys think so far.

and by the way, a niche use for spear of shojin - it means there is now an item where you can full five slot with items that give health + attack to combo with heartsteel & titanic. So if you ever spot the rare niche case of them locking in a team comp without much max health shred you can go full raidboss Heartsteel > Titanic > Black Cleaver > Sterak > Spear + Grasp & Overgrowth and it's pretty much a checkmate if you ever spot enemy locking in a team comp that this would really punish. just not possible to engage into that much hp and damage.

I’ve been feeling like in a vacuum he’s significantly better, no more mythic is the biggest buff to him and his core items especially black cleaver are really quite good, but yes it’s the usual problem that he just doesn’t stack up all that well to what the strongest champs are doing

I'm fairly certain that Urgot W makes it so that Sundered Sky never procs, I tried it in an ARAM game and got zero healing until i used base auto instead of W. if they fixed that, would you recommend it at all?

Arent Maw and deaths very good items on urgot? They give you resistances and damage. Maybe as a third item?

Ngl one of my least favorite changes is the damage tracking on items. How are we supposed to know exactly how big an impact each item is having so that we can optimize?

Playing urgot this season is just not worth the hardwork. You can be as earnest as possible and still lose to all the cringe mages and melee champs.
