Curt just wanted to say that all my bench work is finally completed my brother-in-law came up from the Cincinnati area last weekend from Friday to Sunday between the two of us it was 75 hours of work got all the foam laid down for two main lines but only one main line is operating so far the new layout is 18 ft by 16 ft L-shaped😊 your Metra problem sounds like the real deal

Great video. I hope you get the Metra Cars fixed soon. I was gonna ask you did they ever make any of the CTA El trains in HO? I've never seen any.

I have looked for them , but, like you, I haven't seen any either. I'll keep looking. Maybe I'll get lucky. It would be nice to have a set on the EL tracks above Lake Street.

I got an idea Curt. You could modify that Amtrak SDP40F to a Metra F40C. Wanna do that?

How did you know I even had a SDP40F? Impressive. I'm not that impressed with the guts of the SDP40F so I probably wouldn't want to convert to a F40C. However, It is very intriguing idea. I probably won't spend the time figuring that out since I have a lot of other projects that would top the list. I am still curious though how you would do that.

Curt, I do not have a KZfaq channel. I would be happy to send you some pictures but I'm not really sure how to do that off of my cell phone. My layout is nowhere near as big as what you have but I'm happy to have what I have now maybe you have an idea how I can send you pictures let me know thanks

I will check around and see if I can figure out a way for you to send pictures via your cell phone. I'm pretty sure it can be done, just trying to make it so it is secure and safe. Curt
