New Project updates. Converting 33" plastic wheelsets to 36" metal wheelsets on intermodal and unit coal trains, preparing WB Unit Coal Train from Melrose Park Power Plant to Powder River Basin, WY.

Thanks for the update. The coal cars are gonna roll like crazy. I like the roster for choosing the next power to run the coal train.

Hey, Derek, good to hear from you again. Looking forward to running the coal train and see the improvement. I like to keep track of all the locos and what trains they run. It gives my layout more purpose.

They run really well too. Hardly ever have a problem with them. The one time I did, they were forgiven because they derailed over a switch thrown in the wrong direction.

Great update. Is that a Rix bridge kit? I have a couple that I need to put together. We have also been upgrading our coal cars but we have nowhere near as many cars as you. 😮

Yes, it was a bit tricky to put together, but I'm very happy with the results!
