SEASON 3 HATCHET GREATSWORD PATCH 3.0.3 (SHIRKING HEALS NERF) (Builds at the end!)

So to start off there is 3 build's I've put together for all my Hatchet Greatsword player's out there, but I want to start by saying that if you are a SOLO player, Shirking Heals is still your best friend! Until Season 4, Potions are still extremely weak and self sustainability is at an all time low, so yes Shirking Heals did get nerfed but it is still extremely good if you aren't playing with friends or a Healer.
Regarding the build's themselves, I've made a build without Shirking Heals that consists of Elemental Aversion, Flame Conditioning, and Health, ideally you would put this with the Featherweight set up, but I am a solo player and I already committed to Shirking Heals even with Featherweight. But this is what I would use if I didn't put Shirking Heals on my Featherweight set, basically everything that has Shirking Heals on Featherweight you'd replace with Flame Conditioning.
The reason I chose Flame Conditioning is quite simply because Bows/FS are the most played builds in OPR at the current moment, and with the new Bow Artifact Boltcaster coming soon and all the current Bow's with Split Elemental Gems, Thrust Conditioning loses a lot of value. I also have Thrust Protection on my amulet giving me +15 Thrust Resistance, that paired with my gem set up I'm sitting at +30 Thrust Resistance. Slash Conditioning could be good too but I'd rather have resistance's towards ranged classes as they're more annoying to play against. You could also swap Flame Conditioning with any other perk you'd prefer like Weapon Perks, Freedom, Vigor, Invigorated! But stacking Elemental Aversion with Flame Conditioning and having Infused Fire Absorption Potions with Ruby Gems, you're gonna be able to sustain a lot more punishment from Firestaff/BB/Powder Burn.
Hope this video help's out anyone still wondering whether or not to use Shirking Heals, I myself will continue using until Potion's are normal again in OPR.

This build just hella fun. Still really nothing compares to SH for assassin builds were the key is to not get hit. You don’t top leader boards but you either A. Mow through their back line and healers or B. Take away the opposing teams focus so the rest of the squad can handle. GG learned a lot watching these.

It really is super fun, this build doesn’t really top the leaderboards in terms of points but definitely in kills! And SH is just simply necessary until potions get buffed when season 4 hits. Glad you enjoyed!

Great video man! Question, what are your plans for season 4? Won't potions going back to normal make shirking heals even better for a solo player giving max self-sustain? Trying to put this build together for season 4 and want to know if health/shirking heals/ aversion or enchanted ward will still be the play, or if you plan on doing something different?

Yup shirking heals is and always will be BIS for any solo player.

If you play solo then yeah SH is still necessary until Potions get buffed, thankfully they are going to remove the 20% debuff when Season 4 comes around!

@@brunnosalani9563 it’s definitely not bad but I don’t like how it’s conditional, there’s times where you use berserk and you’re not 50% health, then when you are 50% health you won’t have berserk up, things like that make the perk less appealing to me. But definitely not the worst choice!

Did i didnt understand then, if i understand correclty there is "2 requirement", when u have lower than 50%hp u make more DMG and when u are in berserk (even more than 50%hp) u do more dmg too no ? am i that stupid ? xD

What do you think is better, attune vicious pen backstab/ attune vicious keenly emp, or pen back vicious keenly emp (just for burst on torrent)

Honestly they all are really good, I would say that Attunement-Vicious-Keenly Empowered is probably the best overall since Pen Backstab is useless if you don't actually get to backstab someone, but it's something you'd have to use a few Chromatic Seals on to craft or use an Azoth Inductor. Another good alternative is Plagued Crits with the recent change to how disease works. Hope this helps!

@@Odosu ya I got plagued on my gs because the guaranteed crits, ended up going attune/vicious/pen backstab. Feels really good when you get behind a heavy in particular or just chasing rolls. Also hop back on maramma, I was told once you’re the only light melee close to me so I gotta get some duels in brother. Thanks either way!

Honestly I don’t think you’d wanna use hatchet in heavy, probably better off playing flail or something!

What’s the better element to use electric or frost for the rune glass?

Honestly I don’t think it really matters, not many people slot frost or electric resistance, maybe with Bow artifact we’ll see a small portion of players increase Electric resistance.

Definitely the Tumblers/Featherweight set up, Shirking Heals is still just such a nice thing to have given how poor self sustainability is this Season. Maybe Season 4 there won’t be as much of a need to use it since potions will be back to normal.

Honestly I would say learn what/when to dodge certain abilities, dueling helps with mechanical progression and there’s usually people outside Windsward always waiting to duel! Other than that it’s really just practice, eventually you’ll start to improve just keep trying!

Honestly I like Tumblers the best, but ideally I’d have Ele Aversion instead of Enchanted Ward!

@@BrothaJM I actually use the Flame Conditioning set in Arena and it works really well! Especially with the guaranteed disease you get while playing in Arenas! But yes Ele aversion is generally better than Enchanted Ward, I’m looking to make 2 sets one with Enchanted Ward and one with Ele aversion!

Ping is a huge factor in this game, whenever I play on west coast it is extremely noticeable, my light attacks swing slower and my tracking is so bad.
