I can't call season 8 the greatest because they are still adding muted unfinished characters. Also the removal of the collection menu where we could see all our collections and crew members is a very bad change.

I love the season cuz I love Inside Out lol and really excited for the mid season racers (Bing Bong deserved better tho 😔💔)

You can't see how to get more shards for a racer now unless that racer is as far upgraded as you can manage. Plus hopping back and forth between collections to level up your racer through ranked is so awkward. If anyone knows how to avoid either of these, please let me know.

I usually agree with most of your takes, but I actually believe this could be one of the worst and not best updates to Speedstorm. The new features are nice, but the "UI Improvement" is abysmal. The old design (pre season 7) was great and fitting to a console/PC game, even the Season 7 UI was somewhat passable, but the Season 8 design is a joke. They should just make two different UIs for mobile and console/PC. The Collection tab is completely removed and it is impossible now to see information on your crew members. Which do you have unlocked, how many shards to the next level, what do they improve? All these information are now locked away and the new driver overview is also a severe downgrade. The new content is great, but the other other stuff is a big step in the wrong direction.

Maybe I’m blind , but how do guys change the driver for Multiplayer? I only can do change it when I’m going in a PVE Race with the Character I want to Race with 🤔

How do u get sadness and anger? Someone was playing as sadness already on the ranked mode

Collection tab should come back in some way tho i was more scared that i couldn't see my ranked race rewards but it's still there if you go on to racers in your menu choose one then check rewards, but that's a lot of work also collection rewards are gone no more Hercules ew bro what about the people grinding for them.

Its a good update so far, I love the characters and the QOL new stuff is nice, BUT, at least for me, on console, there are many bugs and freezes that werent there before, not just during races but also while leveling up characters or unlocking them. Even though, for me the best update will be the one when they fix the upgrade coins needed to level up your racers. Unlocking them but not having enough coins to properly enjoy them sucks greatly!!! 😢

I've played the first day of the Inside Out season this morning, and thus far, I've unlocked Fear. He has a long way to go before he can participate in the "Emotions Can't Quit" challenge. I spent my gift card on the Villains' upgrade pack because it was brought back for this season. It gave me ten Hades shards, ten Gaston shards, and 2400 blue tokens. However, I didn't realize until after I bought it that I need to use eShop points and not blue tokens to buy the Golden Pass. This means I need to buy a $10.00 eShop gift card to buy the Golden Pass so that I can unlock Joy. I hope to be able to do this as soon as possible.

Welp, I was hoping that Joy would be unlockable through the Season Tour. But, now I DEFINITELY will have 2 golden pass credits left. Which sucks because I’ll be able to use one on The Pirates of the Caribbean season for Will, Davy Jones, and Barbossa. Then, I’ll have to skip The Nightmare Before Christmas, because I’m not really into that movie. Plus, I’m curious to see what season 10 will be. They need to add golden pass credits back in the game’s shop.
