The way Simone maneuvers this interview with such delicacy and grace around all parties involved. I have one word SKILLs.

Survivor's remorse is REAL and Sevanna's is VERY obvious. I had no idea about the situation before the first interview here but I do remember noticing an absence from the music scene (even when I wasn't paying much attention). She's a promising talent that I would consider about every now and again and wonder what she was up to. I pray that ALL the affected family & friends heal completely & that they (those who haven't yet), will OPENLY extend a hand of grace to Sevanna and reassure her that IT'S OKAY to LIVE and BE HAPPY in the aftermath of an unfortunate and unintentional tragedy such as what she experienced. I think she needs the reassurance most from those affected, but I can imagine the hurt that would hinder someone from taking such a step.

I have so much empathy for Sevana. May she continue to give herself grace and that the family of the young lady who passed will eventually forgive her as tough as it is.

This was a supreme demonstration of showing grace and being gentle with a fragile soul. I truly believe that Sevana will go through and get through and one day show others how to do the same. The test before the testimony.

Young lady Sevana, i sat up and listened intently when i heard you BREATHE! I am no therapist however, I would say your unfortunate experience is, to me, similar to grievance. The wonderful Creator gives everyone different templates. Young lady yours is a different and you MUST put your mental and physical well-being first. Be humble and knowledgeable of life. Give thanks and take nothing for granted. Walk your walk and prayer is key to the soul. Bless you young lady. 🙏🏽

I totally understand Sevana holding back on even trying to enjoy herself because of what happened. When my husband was sick I did nothing. I just did not want to go out and enjoy myself and he was not able to. If for any reason I could not get out of going somewhere I felt guilty right through. It’s a rocky road Sev but one day at a time.

This is so painful to watch. I discovered this songbird when she released "Lowe mi", caught all her other albums, and then quickly discovered that she was involved in such a tragic incident. Devastating to watch her so reluctant to return to her sunshine; so reluctant to grant herself permission to breathe again. It's understandable, but it's so potentially dangerous as well. This girl was sunshine in motion, and I hope her friends and family continue to surround her with love, to bring her back. I believe - I hope - that the sting and ache she's carrying will eventually recede harmlessly into the background. Condolences to the family of the person who tragically died.

Sevana your journey has tested your resolve in a storm, keep your up, events change people but remember it was an accident not with malicious intent, Condolences to the family on their loss, You got so much to give whatever path you choose, heal, forgive yourself, and may your path continue to be blessed.

Sevanna still has a lot of healing to do. Sadly, she will have to live with the trauma of what happened but over time she will learn to not allow it to be a stumbling block. Stay strong and don't feel bad to live your life.

Agree 💯 that trauma she will have to live with, she will have to navigate life but live she must.

Ephesians 4:23-24 By applying Grace to yourself, you are not accepting, excusing or justifying your sin, but recognizing that you are a sinner saved by Grace. Through that grace you remember that nothing will separate you from the love of God - NOTHING! Colossians 3:13 God wants us to grow strong in giving grace to others. Giving grace to another person is simply to forgive them, unconditionally, just as God forgave us through Christ. "Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you". Be strong baby girl.

I get that the family is grieving and my condolences to them. However this could have been anyone of us it was an "accident" she didn't set out to murder this young woman we are all human and ppl often forget that to to error is to be human. She could have died as well. Smh she is remorseful and probably battles with herself every day for it. The court made their ruling i pray the public will allow this young lady to heal too ❤🙏.

*Jamaica would be so much the more better off, if we (the citizens) had Sevanna's compassion and thoughtfulness towards others.* She is so MINDFUL of the hurt of OTHERS, that she is overly cautious not to unintentionally inflict any more pain, and chooses to DENY so much of herSELF. I hope she'll be able to REUNITE with and EMBRACE her WHOLE self one day.

I extol Sevana. She is a goddess deluxe at core and crevice! Seek solace in mirth and pursue it, Angel! Parse life into phases of living and tranches of aliveness. There are premiums to be accrued from your mooring in incidents with bearings in catharsis.

Beautiful young lady you are Sevana, sorry to hear about the unfortune event that took the life of another human being, my deepest condolences to the family who has lost that young lady. sometimes it seems that life gives us more than what we can bear, but nothing stays the same forever time heal all wounds. Sevana you will get through the pain and regardless of the circumstances you are still a human being and a wonderful person, your flaws or weaknesses don't define who you are as a person. but it is your strength and determination to overcome the difficulties in life. I wish you nothing but the best on your journey to recovery, may you learn to find love, peace and happiness once again, You are an INSPIRATION and as long as you have a rock like Natalie you'll be good, Natalie I don't know you in person, but I know that you are an amazing person.

Survivor’s remorse, commonly associated with PTSD, is when a person feels guilty because they survived a life-threatening event that others did not survive. When misfortune strikes us, and we remain unscathed, we may be grateful. However, we also may feel a sense of guilt, questioning, “Why not me?” The individual feels as if their survival is due to them doing something wrong and that somehow they should have prevented the tragedy from occurring. Plane crashes or deaths among military personnel while deployed are common triggers for survivor’s guilt, but it can also be experienced as a result of other less apparent occurrences. Signs of survivor’s guilt include feeling unworthy, confused, or even hesitant about continuing to live. Self-blame and isolation occur. Avoidance is a common theme for those suffering from survivor’s guilt. These are all dangerous emotions... It is not easy what this young lady is going through. The most she can do is take care of her self and probably use her platform in a way to advocate for safe driving. MOST OF GIVE IT TO THE ALMIGHTY GOD, JESUS CHRIST. He can lift every heavy burden.

Sevana, continue to draw close to your creator. Guilt is not of God. He suffered all of it at the cross. If He could forgive Paul for all his atrocities then what say us. I pray for your strength as you navigate this difficult period in your life. Many would say take it a day at a time, but I say, take it a moment at a time. Tiny baby steps. Chin up little sister❤
