Looking back on these trailers, this show really did have such a drastic change in tone from the first season! The last few seasons of this show really elevated it past family/children's show and into something which made it so deeply beloved by all sorts of people.

this series was the best ever!

I love to pretend I'm a naive first time watcher of the show and watch all the series trailers back to back to see what the show is like and thinking 'damn! this show is getting darker', to 'well, showing a second of Arthur seeing lancelot and Gwen together is a bit of a spoiler for the time isn't it??'

BEST TV SHOW EVER. My heart still aches because it is all over. :( :(

Morgana's war on Arthur got old very quickly for me. Every week another way to try to kill Arthur. Snore. It wasn't her throne anyway. She was illegitimate and thus could not inherit the throne. So I was really irked by her attituded that the throne was hers. Surely the writers could have done some far better than that

Season 4 was amazing. Best season of the show imo. It was where the series took a more darker and mature tone.
