Arcane mage actually having rotation now being hybrid dmg/healer seems fun. Arcane Blast to increase damage/healing of arcane missiles, arcane surge, regeneration or mass regeneration

I hope they'll add some cleave to the rogue - Otherwise you're going to struggle quite a bit with tanking, outside of the Blade Flurry cd.

I absolutely adore the new direction of the game. Obviously things have to adjust some classes will under or over performed BUT huge fair play to blizzard to take the risk for those charges need balls to do it. I know those hatets who always complain but for the longevity of the game something drastically like thar needed. My only huge complain is where is my CYCLONE 😢😢😢😢

Good ideas, bad execution. Classic Blizzard having no idea wtf they're doing. NO ONE wanted mages to have heals. NO ONE wanted rogues to be tanks. etc. The vast majority of these changes are stupid. They don't fix the problems with the specs that are already dogshit (except paladin specs), elevate the already dominant specs and destroy class identity the same way as was done in mop.

@ravador atleast they are TRYING do you know what this is the beta classic they will try and if things are op will nerf them but we all have to give them a chance instead of bitching and arguing each other and in the end of the day is 2023 is almost 20 years gone the game needed a massive change like this if you want to play legit classic plus turtle wow is doing an amazing job with pvp and pve and warmane too soon so let's all be more positive and see things from other angle have a nice weekend

@@XPISTOS-ANESTH Yes, I play Turtle WoW and it's doing a billion times better job than Blizzard. That is what I wanted from Blizzard, but yet again it is completely obvious that idiots at Blizzard have no idea what the actual players want. So many people complain about class identity being destroyed in retail and yet the first thing Blizzard does in Classic+ is to destroy that class identity yet again. What Runes should have done is to make weak and unviable specs good, so that there would be more build diversity in the game, from the specs and playstyles that already exist. But nah, let's do MAGE HEALER instead.

I can predict that Hunter will be mellee oriented in PVP at the start, due to the absence of feign death and no added disengage mechanic.

I can predict that with a mage heal, warrior's are going to go from having a 0% chance to kill a mage to... still having a 0% chance to kill a mage. EDIT: after a closer look, warrior got some awesome stuff too.

holy S*** this is vanilla on steroids.... they gonna have to tune the endgame content to be MUCH more unforgiving at 60. this is sort of what we ALL wanted.... AMAZING. as a mage, burnout rune + icy veins rune + arcane blast rune is going to dish out so much dmg

New aoe tank in the house: Warlock with lake of fire and hellfire coupled with a shaman healer with earthshield on warlock AMAZING - unless palas grow the brain to use conc aura but its pretty much never happening from my experience

At first I was a bit disappointed and confused with the announcement at opening ceremonies.. then I watched the classic panel and got the deeper dive and have come around to it a bit more. I personally just wanted classic like we have it on era with maybe a few class changes and balance changes along with new content added. But, I agree.. this is a "season" so it's not permanent, If things don't turn out well, they aren't here to stay but if it turns out as a hit, it can be added to official classic+ later on or whatever. I was sitting here theorycrafting builds/rune combinations and there looks to be some VERY interesting things you can do on every class. Also curious to see what kind of runes we'll get at higher levels as well. One thing I REALLY want for druids is a very minimal mana cost on shapeshifting. If it's made like 5-10% mana cost per shift, that will make me really happy.

Impossible to please everyone because Classic+ hasn't been even defined at any point. There is as many Classic+ versions as there are players. My only concern is that PvE content is too easy after getting strong spells like lifebloom, wild growth, icy veins etc. but like you said since it is capped at 25lvl and people find it too easy they can maybe tune up the 35/40lvl range which is coming after it.

Shaman being dual wield doesn't show they are listening to their community. If I wanted to play a dual wielding Shaman, I have retail for that... I want more two-handed weapon abilities...

@@Ebbnflow - I really hope so, if not I might just try Hunter with lone wolf unless that is to support melee play vs. strong ranged group play. If that is also the case, I dunno maybe Warlock unless they are going to focus them on tanking. If so, I really don't know maybe I'll go back to Era. Sort of disappointed how they are trying to change the current meta by forcing another dumber meta.

Hunters are lackluster, all of the other pure dps are gaining additional roles and utility. Hunters need more support or defensive abilities.

is it? as soon as you pop out of cat form you lose sr right? in classic you need to powershift to do any damage at all... i also find it problematic that mangle and lacerate are on the same rune slot for bear tanks as they have great synergies@@artemmakhaydinov3586

wow, these abilities are way stronger than I thought they'd be. If they don't massively buff mobs and bosses then it's gonna suck. They probably went a bit overboard. Oh well, maybe we'll have fun if they buff mobs.

you should be watching out for mages and warrios man. fingers of frost is crazy but what about the warrior rune that gives them a cleanse/dispell on each charge/intercept that can now be used in combat /any stance if they opt in. frost mage might not slay warrior ike they used to

As Ebb stated.. the reason SoM flopped is bc it was released at a HORRIBLE time. It was too soon after classic vanilla had ended. Not enough time had passed for people to get the vanilla itch again.
