A couple of corrections! Westfall is listed as a Horde zone, and it is an Alliance zone. Weapon skills are capped at 130 at level 25. Blizzard has also changed the skill cap for professions to 150 since this video was made. Other notes: The SoD fact sheet lists "battlegrounds," plural, so we were assuming both Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin will be in the game, however only Warsong Gulch has been confirmed. blizzard.gamespress.com/World-of-Warcraft-Classic-Season-of-Discovery-67602 Priest racials haven't been confirmed for phase 1. They may be added in a later phase.

When you say "capped at 130" do you mean that with +weapon skill we will only be able to reach a max of 130? Because the base cap is 125 at 25, unless you have a racial (Maces/Swords for humans, guns for dwarves, axes for orcs, bows for trolls) or have gear/enchant/talent that increases weapon skill, so is there anything in the game that will give someone more than +5 to weapon skill? And if so, would they be capped at 130 even if they have +10?

I am so excited to try vanilla on a fresh server for the first time ever. I missed out on WoW as a kid and now I get to actually play all the content WITH PEOPLE! And not just ERA server where everyone is already max level and have been for years.

Rune engravings aren’t there to make up for limited abilities due to the level cap. They are there to shake up the meta, give some classes a much needed boost and to put the plus into Classic. We’ll still have rune engraving even at lvl 60 with all the other abilities unlocked.

depending on the duration of each phase I hope the dual spec is introduce soon because we wont have the gold to switch spec often..

I believe Dual Spec will be introduced in a later phase / new C+ season. in SoD they'll reduce the amount of gold it costs to respec. It makes sense since they'll be a lot of experimentation with playstyles and establishing new metas.

I mean Runes are essentially respecs for some classes. Like Shaman Tank can EASILY swap to the dual wield Rune with Lava Lash and mix and match his build. You probably wont need to be fully hardcore spec'd at 25, and besides its supposed to be much cheaper so its redundant anyways. Unless losing minor amounts of money is "punishing" for you, its not.

I have two questions. One is why we’ll raid bfd more then once if loot will become obsolete in time of phase 2? Another one is where Night elves should level if ashevale is pvp zone now, since they can’t go around it?

Good vid, but Westfall isn't a Horde zone. Also they haven't confirmed yet if the 5 man standard dungeon version of the raids (BFD, GNOMER, SM) have been removed or not.

Hey guys, if anyone sees this and has time to explain how PvP honour works in Vanilla/SoD WoW, I'd greatly appreciate it. My main two questions are: (1) Is the gear from PvP available no matter which mode you play? (Ashenvale, Warsong Gulch, Open World) (2) Does honour reset at a certain window or how does it work? If I PvP a little bit each week, will I always remain too low a rank to get any of the good gear? Should I just commit to grinding it for a few days instead? And if it does reset, does anyone know when this happens? Cheers, sorry for nooby questions but this info is surprisingly hard to find.

Blizzard says they always want to let players keep their characters one way or the other. They don't have any concrete plans for where they will go, but they will not disappear when the season is over.

You can actually fish up some of the bigger bags though you do have to make your way to places like winterspring just a lil information for the people fishing is gonna be OP since you can get bigger bags, higher level mats like leather and cloth from it

As far as i recall, weapon skills are capped at level*5+skillfromgear/race. So this would be about 130. Not 225.

Because blizzard have only talked about wsg. They are probably saving AB content and updates for the lvl 40 cap. It seems to be the general consensus that only wsg will be available in p1. I could be wrong but it would surprise me

think again if this content is great when it clealy shows wrong information. westfall is not a hordezone. normal dungeons cannot be entered as 10 man in classic. normal dungeons. not raids, but normal dungeons.

I really wish they would restrict switching runes either to main cities or at least rested areas. Switching runes on the fly will make some classes kind of lose their flavor - it's great that we can have more classes be on-demand tanks, but switching to different roles in between pulls will make it feel lackluster. If I can do everything all of the time, the gameplay becomes dull. Pigeonholing me into a single role will force me to strategize more and only as a last resort hearth to re-apply another rune and then come back and try again.
