I think Fox wants to make more stupid TV series for people. They don't like good, smart TV series like this? Bring back "Lie to Me"!!

This show was cancelled 11 years ago and I'm still miffed about it. Such a great show with a really good premise and loads of potential plot lines to explore, and the knuckleheads at Fox didn't think it's fans deserved at least a bit of closure. There are a lot of similarities between this show and The Mentalist and both should be revisited IMHO.

I just finished watching 3rd season's last chapter and I'm just trying to find someone to blame for the cancellation of this serie. I really wanna be a little more like Cal or Paul Ekman, what a great contribution for humanity's research of emotions that was!. And I can't believe I'll never get to see Lightman and Foster's first love kiss. Stupid FOX!

Tim plays it out so good. He really makes you belive that he could do it i mean read the faces and stuff. İ agree that people would get bored cuz what they do we know them telling who lies all the time but they should find a way to bring this back like basics will be the same but a new perspective maybe and ı know their hands are tied if they cant get the enough rating which is weird. Everything is about money. nomatter how good it is if noone watches fox or any chanel would cancel it anyway.

I initially really loved this show but don't like the way Lightman's character developed at all. I *loved* his portrayal in season 1. He was measured, cerebral, multilayered, mysterious and very different from anyone else on TV. By season 2, he was becoming really gimmicky and comedic, which I felt took away from the gravity of his character. By season 3 I was hardly watching because I couldn't tolerate the slick, Jack-the-lad, cockney geaser routine. It was too much and I was sad to see such an intelligent character go. For me, the love affair ended with Lie to Me before it was cancelled 😕.
