I wish it was true when they say time heals because when it comes to thinking about Chris I can't bear it and it seems to get worse each month. 3 years since he left and I still feel so raw about it. Maybe in 5 years time, it may get better, but for now, it hurts as much now as it did the morning I woke to find the horrible news.

It's hard to believe that this song was born from a fake song listed on a fictitious band's cassette tape in a movie. So Chris just threw it together so the Director had something for background music in the movie. And it ends up being one of the best songs of all time, in My book.

It probably did come from somewhere real for chris
@robciervo2 жыл бұрын
Actually it was a list of song titles created by Jeff Ament from Pearl Jam. Jeff would come up with titles and then challenge Chris to create a song from the title. He did that with Spoonman too.

This man was one of the last most talented musicians to walk this earth, Cornell was skilled in his compositions, an extreme facility to expose his vulnerability and make one reflect, a true poet. He was an excellent musician, he played drums, bass and guitar well, and before he was a singer he also composed songs thinking about the voice-drums timing for the best fit. And the vocal talent, able to reach beyond octaves, raise the tones and have a very powerful voice timbre for a man. This man, for those who appreciate good music, organic music, he was a possessor of ability, competence and mastery. No one sings like you anymore, GOD of rock music.

"Seasons" Summer nights and long warm days Are stolen as the old moon falls My mirror shows another face Another place to hide it all Another place to hide it all And I'm lost behind The words I'll never find And I'm left behind As seasons roll on by Sleeping with a full moon blanket Sand and feathers for my head Dreams have never been the answer And dreams have never made my bed Dreams have never made my bed And I'm lost behind The words I'll never find And I'm left behind As seasons roll on by Now I wanna fly above the storm But you can't grow feathers in the rain And the naked floor is cold as hell This naked floor reminds me Oh the naked floor reminds me And I'm lost behind Words I'll never find And I'm left behind As seasons roll on by If I should be short on words And long on things to say Could you crawl into my world And take me worlds away?
