Seaton - A trip to where? :)

I live in Seaton, so I thought I'd take an early morning stroll.
Seaton - is a civil parish and one of the smallest towns in England housing 4,861 people.
Historically a part of Cumberland, it is situated next to the town of Workington and the village of Camerton along the River Derwent and dates back at least to Medieval times.
" Formally, this name represents OE 'Sǣtūn', 'sea tūn' ".[2] (OE=Old English and 'tūn' means 'homestead', 'village').
Seaton did have a train station (54.6621°N 3.5233°W) on the Cleator and Workington Junction Railway, but this sadly closed in 1922.

At 10.08 on the right used to be the Co Op and, next to it, a convenience shop called Osborne's (that's also where the 47 bus stops and from where I used to catch the school bus). The shops at 10.44 used to have a bookies in the 60s, a chippie and Mr Lightfoot's shop. Tommy Lightfoot complained to my mother about me going into his shop and putting worms on the counter when he was cutting bacon! Well, I was only six!

Nice. The house on the left at 1.50 is where my brother lives. At 10.33, if you turn left into Ling Beck Park, I used to live at police houses next to the library. Long time ago...

ADMIRALSCORNER Glad u liked the video, a bit jirky in parts, I've since fitted a gimbal to my drone to make videoing smoother :)

David Surtees Those devices do give a very good and interesting view of familiar places as never seen before! Recently I was sad to see an advert locally from someone whose drone had flown out of range and he has lost it and his camera somewhere unknown..
