@@childrenoftolkienlmao… like every city in America isn’t experiencing increased homelessness. I live in Washington and visit both Portland and Seattle. There are a few bad spots, but it’s overinflated. Just think of places like skid row for the last 50 years, or New York in the 70’s and 80’s. Its a silly talking point. And it minimizes people’s mental health, addiction, and financial troubles, just to somehow, what, feel more superior about your own city? Or are you a conservative from rural America and have no frame of reference, repeating propaganda in order to make points against the “Lib” cities? Trite to say the least either way.

I was in Seattle on the first week of May, 2023. What do you mean buildings boarded up because I swear I never saw one building boarded up in downtown at the time.

Downtown Seattle is returning to its former glory after the Covid-19 lockdown. Tourists are returning in great numbers this year, and it's amazing to witness how much Americans and people from all over the world love visiting Seattle!👏

Frankly, that is a good question. I couldn't find one tent in downtown Seattle while filming, so I'm only speculating the government of Seattle housed them in transitional homes.
