Holy fxxk! There were a bunch of Sea Dragon fans at this game! Guess Seattlites have enough money to burn to support a second football team at a time when the ice hockey team is kicking ass! I wonder if the Sea Dragons could survive as an AFC team (which should piss off the Seahawks for obvious reasons)? As for Dallas/Arlington? *Jerry Jones:* Nice to see the fans of this team show up dressed as seats!

XFL needs to turn down the QB mic.

Great job by both White quarterbacks and the Sea Dragons’ White kicker.

Well it’s the 7th week, and the quality has gotten better as the players have gotten used to each other and teams start to gel. Not many of these guys belong in the nfl, and I can’t say I’ve seen any that would be a starter. It’s a developmental league, but not quite as good as highest level college. But the presentation of the games is my biggest gripe. No sport is enhanced by mid game interviews. Adds absolutely nothing to hear a heavy breathing athlete trying to catch his breath being asked inane questions. Also, hearing coordinators calling in the plays adds nothing but annoyance. And mic’ed up players only add a feeling of watching a low quality game in a quiet stadium. But my biggest gripe is the overuse of the “rules expert”, in the case of the XFL Dean Blandino. Nothing against Blandino. But the announcers seriously went to Blandino to explain a false start call. A basic false start call. We are not new to football, we do not need a false start explained to us. There are calls that Blandino should be brought in to explain, but he is way overused. The XFL has given me even more reasons than other sports leagues to appreciate my mute button. I record every game and watch so I can forward over unnecessary parts and with the mute I don’t need to hear an in game interview that sounds like an obscene phone call.
