Seattle to the Canadian Rockies - Driving There and Back in Under 6 Minutes

What is it like to drive from Seattle or Western Washington to the the Canadian Rockies? Is the drive interesting? Is it worth it? This video condenses the 20+ hour drive down to less then 6 minutes. We visited Mount Revelstoke National Park, Canadian Glacier National Park, Yoho, Banff, Jasper, and Kootenay, then circled back through the Idaho panhandle and Eastern Washington. It was a long but beautiful drive and an amazing experience.

Enjoy! We loved it so much that we did a variation again last year, taking the Yellowhead Highway instead, and we are definitely going back for a 3rd, but we will probably take a year off and do something different.

What are the ideal 5+ seater vehicles to rent (excluding RVs), to make a trip like this, starting from Seattle? We will be visiting from Singapore this summer.

Interesting question. I would say any vehicle could make the drive in the summer so it really depends upon who is going and what you are bringing.
